325 <br /> <br /> III.Tenants Who Buy: <br /> 1. A credit of $50 per month, to a maxima of $1000, will be granted to the <br /> tenant and deducted from the purchase price. <br /> 2. If a tenant-buyer elects to take the unit in on as-is condition, the owner <br /> will deduct $1000 from the purchase price. The tenant-buyer retains the <br /> right to either have the unit refurbished or the $1000 credit on purchase. <br /> 3. Owner must assist buyer-tenant with gaining financing. Out-of-pocket ex- <br /> pense up to $250 will be reimbursed by owner. <br /> <br />IV. Tenants Who Must Move: 1. Must receive 6 months notice. <br /> 2. No rent increase during this 6 month period or for the previous six months. <br /> 3. Moving expenses shall be paid by the owner to any other location within the <br /> "Valley" - not to exceed $500.00. <br /> 4. A $100 utility hook-up fee shall be provided by the owner. <br /> 5. Relocation assistance through a professional Property Management Agency <br /> will be paid for by the owner. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Mohr stated she felt there should be protection for senior citizens <br />regarding of the length of time they had occupied an apartment before notice of <br />condominium conversion. Councilmember Mohr also asked for a definition of who can <br />convert to condominiums. <br /> <br /> Council discussion ensued regarding Cost of Living versus Consumer Price Index <br />figures, inventory of rental units, and relocation of displaced persons if housing <br />cannot be found in the Valley. <br /> <br /> Council and staff discussed the number of City Council meetings to be held in <br />April and determined the schedule as follows: <br /> <br /> April 14, 1981 - Regular Meeting; Meyers Property <br /> <br /> April 21, 1981 - Adjourned Regular Meeting; CondominiumConversion <br /> Residential Allocation Program <br /> Accordable Housing <br /> Housing Element <br /> <br /> April 28, 1981 - Regular Meeting <br /> <br /> After further discussion, Mayor Mercer instructed the City Attorney to prepare <br />a draft condominium conversion ordinance incorporating the issues discussed, to be <br />included in the Council packet for April 14, 1981, and considered by Council at an <br />Adjourned Regular Council meeting on April 2i, 1981. <br /> <br />Application of Meyer Properties~ Inc.~ for planned un~t.d.eyelopment (Industrial and <br />Commercial) zonin$ and.~evelopment plan approval for an approximately 82 acre site <br />located at the northwest corner of Hopyard Road and Stoneridge Drive. The tenta- <br />tive proposal for land uses for the sub3ect area indicates approximately 36 acres <br />of industrial development, 24 acres of office development, and ~1 acres of other <br />commercial development to be served by 11 acres of dedicated streets.. As part of <br />the office land use.~ one buildtn~ 14 stories in height and two buildings 8 stories <br />in height are proposed. The property is currently zoned Planned Unit Development <br />(General Industrial)...
