Box 6556, Modesto, developer of Vista Del Sol <br /> Apartments, (presented written report dated March 4, 1981). <br /> <br /> Gil Barbee, 147 Bernal Avenue~ <br /> <br /> Michael Harris, 6111 Johnson Drive, representing Southern Alameda County <br /> Board of Realtors. <br /> <br /> Art Dunkley, 844 Division Street. <br /> <br /> Warren Cederborg, 6753 Singletree Court. <br /> <br /> Archie Stanley, 856 Aramon Court. <br /> <br /> Bob Cuesta, owner of two small apartments. <br /> <br /> There being no further testimony, Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing <br />closed. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer presented the following written proposal for Council consideration: <br /> <br />I. General: <br /> 1. Limited to 5% of the total rental stock annually, except any project of six <br /> units or less is exempt from the total but not the ordinance requirements. <br /> 2. All conversions must come to the Council for approval. Variances for park- <br /> ing and open space will be necessary. <br /> 3. Tenants should have first right of refusal to purchase. <br /> <br />II. Senior Citizens/Handicapped Persons: <br /> 1. Any tenant who has lived in a unit for 5 or more years cannot be forced to <br /> move out. <br /> 2. Life time lease will be given using the current rent as the base. The <br /> annual rent increase cannot exceed the annual C.O.L. index. <br /> 3. The unit is to be refurbished at the owner's expense. <br /> <br /> 5. 3/24/81 <br /> <br /> <br />
