34.9 <br /> <br />g. Adoption of Resolution No. 81-44, after review of bids for the construction of <br /> St. Mary Street Storm Drainage Improvements from Peters Avenue to Main Street <br /> and at Western Pacific Railroad Crossing, and also construction of Bernal Avenue <br /> Sanitary Sewer Improvements, award the bids to Four Aces Construction Company, <br /> 4047 First Street, Suite 115, Livermore, in the amount of $94,988.30; direct the <br /> Finance Department to increase the amount budgeted for the sanitary sewer portion <br /> to the amount of the bid received for that portion; and authorizing the appro- <br /> pr~iate City officials to execute the contract. <br /> <br />h. Adoption of Resolution No. 81-45, approving Final Map, Improvement Plans, and <br /> Subdivision Agreement for Tract 4263, Oak Park, SAVCO Construction Company, and <br /> authorizing the appropriate City officials to execute the agreement. <br /> <br />i. Adoption of Resolution No. 81-46, approving the change in Owner/Developer of <br /> Tract 3148, Fairlands Unit 8, from Amador Valley Investors to Warmington Develop- <br /> ment Company. <br /> <br />j. Adoption of Resolution No. 81-47, accepting Sanitary Sewer Easement for the con- <br /> struction of Sanitary Sewer Outfall Line for Tract 4551, Parkside, and also <br /> accepting the terms and conditions from Alameda County Flood Control and Water <br /> Conservation District, and authorizing the City Manager to present to and file <br /> with the recorder of Alameda County, California, said instruments or documents <br /> of conveyance described above where the City of Pleasanton is the grantee; and <br /> to execute in behalf of the City, the certificate of acceptance to permit said <br /> documents to be recorded. <br /> <br />k.Adoption of Resolution No. 81-48, approving Claims for the month of+January, <br /> 1981, in the amount of $450,339.55. <br /> <br />1. Adoption of Resolution No. 81-49, approving a Water Conservation Study to deter- <br /> mine whether or not the 280 GPD sewer flow being used for each Dwelling Unit <br /> Equivalent is still valid, said Study to be conducted by Brown and Caldwell in <br /> the amount of $70,575.00, and that the cost of the Study be financed from the <br /> Sewer Expansion fund held by Dublin San Ramon Services District. <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Kephart, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />MATTERS INITIATED BY COUNCILMEMBERS <br /> Councilmember Wood requested staff to prepare a report regarding park dedication <br />fees, because of the increase in the value of land in recent years. Council suggested <br />this report be referred to the Park and Recreation Commission and the Planning Com- <br />mission for their review and recommendation before Council consideration of this matter. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer requested the City Attorney and the City Manager to review the matter <br />of LAFCO being directed by the Board of Supervisors to make decisions as to whether or <br />not discrete sewage plants should be allowed on private property, and report back to <br />the Council on their findings. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL COMMITTEE REPORTS <br /> Councilmembers presented various Committee Reports for the information of the <br />Council. <br /> <br /> 3. 2/24/81 <br /> <br /> <br />
