3 1! <br /> · <br /> <br /> The following persons spoke in opposition to the application and the negative <br />declaration: <br /> <br /> Ms. Jacquie Oliveflus, President of the Pleasanton Meadows Homeowners A§socia- <br />tion, stated she concurred with the Planning Commission recommendation that this <br />property be prezoned Agricultural, and that she is definitely opposed to any in- <br />dustrial development in the area. She stated she disagreed with the Negative De- <br />claration relative to traffic measures. She also expressed concern regarding lack <br />of proper notification b i~'sent by the City to affected citizens in the surround- <br /> e <br /> ing area of a proposed proJ ct. <br /> <br /> Mr, Jim Quinn, 3864 West Las Positas, stated he agreed with Agricultural zoning <br />for this property but is opposed to Industrial zoning because of potential traffic <br />problems. <br /> <br /> There being no further testimony, Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing <br />closed on the application and the negative declaration. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Mohr, and seconded by Councilmember Kephart, that <br />Resolution No. 81-420, determining on the basis of a review of initial environmental <br />study done for this project, that no significant environmental impact would occur as <br />outlined in the City's guidelines and that a negative declaration is appropriate to <br />prezone Annexation No. 83, approximately 23 acres located on the north side of the <br />Arroyo Mocho immediately easterly of and adjacent to the present City limit line <br />approximately 2,000 feet west of E1 Charro Road to the Agricultural District, be <br />adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Kephart, Mohr, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: Councilmember Wood <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Mohr, and seconded by Councilmember Kephart, that <br />Ordinance No. 1009, to be read by title only and waiving further reading thereof, <br />approving the application of the City of Pleasanton to prezone Annexation No. 83, <br />approximately 23 acres located on the north side of the Arroyo Mocho immediately <br />easterly of and adjacent to the present City limit line approximately 2,000 feet <br />west of E1 Charro Road, to the "A" (Agricultural) District, be introduced. <br />The roll c.a~l vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Kephart, Mohr, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: Councilmember Wood <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Application of the City of Pleasanton to prezone (Annexation No. 91) an approxi- <br />.mat.ely_35 aqre site loqated on the west side of Martin AvenUe at it.s intersection <br />with Mohr Avenue to any zoning d~r~ct consi~tent with the General Plan <br /> <br />On the basis of an Initial .S..t.udy of the potential environmental impacts of the <br />p~oject, tha Director of Plannin8 and Community Development has determined that <br />the proposed project would not have any potential significant adverse effects on <br />the environment'and that an environmental impact report need not be prepared. <br />7his ~Igiti~l Study is available for review at the Planning Divisiog.~ ,~00 Bern~l <br />~v~nue, Pleasanton.
