215 <br /> <br /> MINUTES <br /> <br /> OF <br /> <br /> THE MEETING <br /> <br /> OF <br /> <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> November 24, 1981 <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER - PLEDGE TO THE FLAG <br /> Mayor Mercer called the Regular Meeting of the City Council to <br />order at 8:00 p.m., and then led the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL <br /> Acting Secretary Peggy Ezidro called the roll which is recorded as <br />follows: Councilmembers Butler, Kephart, Mohr, Wood and Mayor Mercer <br />were present. Mr. Walker, City Manager, Mr. Levine, City Attorney, <br />Mr. Warnick, Director of Public.Works and Utilities, and Mr. Harris, <br />Director of Planning and Community Development, were present. <br /> <br />AGENDAAME~DMENTS <br /> Mr. Walker advised that item 13b - Draft Ordinance, Hillside <br />Planned Development, would be continued indefinitely for further study <br />by the staff and the community. <br /> <br /> Mr. Walker suggested that'item 4b - adoption of an urgency ordinance <br />exempting projects entering into agreements to participate in the mortgage <br />revenue bond program of the City of Pleasanton from the requirements of <br />the city's residential allocation program, be removed from the Consent <br />Calendar and considered at the same time as item 13a -Growth Management <br />Implementation (RAP Dissolution). <br /> <br /> Item 4g, Approval of Agreement between City and Reynolds and Brown, <br />was removed from the Consent Calendar since an agreement had not been <br />reached with Reynolds and Brown and further negotiations were necessary. <br /> <br /> At Mr. Levine's request, item 4h - Resolution Setting Public <br />Hearing for Housing Authority Cooperative Agreement, was added to the <br />Consent Calendar. <br /> <br /> Mr. Walker requested that item 12i - Request to Close Main Street <br />for Christmas Tree Lighting, be added to the Reports of the City Manager. <br /> <br /> Mr. Walker requested that at the same time discussion takes place <br />on item 8b - PUD-81-28, Planned Unit Development for Downtown Southern <br />Pacific property,- that a License Agreement.with Southern Pacific for <br />the First Street parks be considered for approval in conjunction with <br />development of the property. <br /> <br /> Finally, Mr. Walker requested an Executive Session to consider <br />a report of Mr. Levine regarding litigation. <br /> <br /> -1- <br /> <br /> <br />
