Ms. Nancy Donner, owner of property adjacent to this parcel, stated there is an existing dwelling on the property and she asked if it would be allowed to remain and another dwelling also built on the lot, Staff advised only one dwelling unit per 20,000 sq. ft. will be allowed. There being no further testimony, Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing closed on the application and the negative declaration. It was moved by Councilmember Butler, and seconded by Councilmember Kephart, that Resolution No. 81-279, determining on the basis of a review of initial environmental study done for this project, that no significant environmental impact would occur as outlined in the City's guidelines and that a negative declaration is appropriate to prezone approximately nine acres to an R-I-20,000 (Residential-Single Family) District, located on the east side of Amber Lane approximately 415 feet south of the intersection of Mockingbird Lane and Amber Lane, be adopted.
