449 COb~NICATIONS Letter from Alameda County Plannin~ Department Mayor Mercer presented a letter from the Alameda County Planning Department dated July 17, 1981, asking if Councilmember Walter Wood is still the City~s repre- sentative to the Livermore-Amador Valley Sand and Gravel Study Committee. Mayor Mercer stated that Councilmember Wood is still the City's representative to this committee but had been advised not to attend any meetings until such time as pend- ing litigation between the City and the three gravel companies is settled. Staff was directed to write a letter for the Mayor's signature advising the Alameda County Planning Department of this fact, but requesting that Councilmember Wood continue to receive agendas of the meetings and when the agenda does not include discussion of the gravel truck traffic, Mr. Wood may attend the committee meetings. CITY COUNCIL CALENDAR Mr. Walker presented the Calendar for the information of the Council. Mayor Mercer made the following amendments to the Calendar: August 3 8:00 P.M, - RAP meeting, Cultural Arts Center 12 Cancel Mayors' Conference Meeting 20 3:00 P.M. - LAFCO Meeting Re: Pleasanton's Sphere of Influence 24 7:30 P.M. - Sewer Committee Meeting 27 7:00 P.M. - LPWRA Public Hearing on Facilities Plan and EIR 27 8:00 P.M. - LAVWMAMeeting EXECUTIVE SESSION Mayor Mercer recessed the meeting at 9:55 P.M,, to an Executive Session to discuss pending litigation. Mayor Mercer reconvened the meeting at 10:00 P.M. ADJOURNMENT There being no further business at 10:05 P.M., it was moved by Councilmember Mohr, and seconded by Councilmember Wood, that the meeting be adjourned to meet again in Regular Session on August 11, 1981, 8:00 P.M,, at the Fairgrounds Cafeteria.
