A.
Martin, Chris Beratlis, and Pleasanton School District, and requiring the applicants
to either have an acceptable legal description and map of the proposed annexation
(meeting LAFCO standards) prepared by a licensed civil engineer or pay a fee deter-
mined by the City Engineer to cover the costs of preparation of the description and
map by the City.
The roll call vote was as follows:
AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Mohr, and Mayor Mercer
NOES: Councilmember Wood
ABSENT: Councilmember Kephart

.sphere O~.Influence Raport
Mr. Harris presented his report (SR 81:260) dated July 22, 1981, regarding this
matter.

Mayor Mercer presented a letter from Joseph Madden, 3851 Vineyard Avenue, statin~
he favored retaining the land north of 1-580 in Pleasanton's sphere of influence.

Mr. Bob Atkinson, representing Stoney Ridge Winery on Vineyard Avenue, asked what
was planned for this area of Vineyard Avenue.
