Mr. Joe Callahan, representing Callahan-Pentz Properties, requested some minor <br />modifications to the PUD ordinance "Whereas" relating to the acreage devoted to <br />various uses as follows: 23 net acres of garden offices, 50 net acres of mid-rise <br />offices, 47 net acres of industrial warehousing, 273 net acres of research and <br />development/light manufacturing, and 38 acres of retail/commercial/financial develop- <br />ment with the remaining approximately 80 acres to be used for street and flood <br />channel right-of-way purposes. All other acreage designations remain the same. <br />He also requested minor changes to Conditions 2, 11, and 12, which have been agreed <br />to by staff, and that Condition 106 requiring no construction prior to formation of <br />assessment districts be modified to indicate no "occupancy" prior to formation of <br />assessment districts. Mr. Callahan also asked that Condition 109 be added to the <br />ordinance which would prevent on-street parking within the property in order that <br />the ordinance would conform to the CC&R's of the development. <br /> <br /> Ms. Margaret Tracy again addressed the Council regarding her concerns of the <br />regional impacts of the business parks and asked Council to meet and confer with <br />other valley agencies on plans for the future of the Valley. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember Mercer, <br />that Ordinance No. 1040, to be read by title only and waiving further reading <br />thereof, approvin~ the application of Prudential Insurance Company of America and <br />Callahan-Pentz Properties to rezone to the PUD District and approve a development <br />plan for PUD-81-30, a 573 acre business park east of Hopyard Road and north of the <br />Arroyo Mocho, with changes to Conditions 2, 11, and 12 per the staff report, modi- <br />fication to the acreages pursuant to the application, a change to Condition 106 to <br />allow construction but prevent occupancy prior to formation of assessment districts, <br />and finally the addition of Condition 109 preventing on-street parking within the <br />development, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Mercer, Wood, and Vice Mayor Mohr <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Mayor Butler <br /> <br />SPECIAL REPORTS <br /> There were no special reports presented at this meeting. <br /> <br />REPORTS OF BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS <br />Park and Recreation Commission Recommendation to Change Name of Loma Alta Park <br /> Mr. Walker presented the report of the Director of Recreation and Human Re- <br />sources (SR 82:233) dated June 22, 1982, regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember Mercer, <br />that Resolution No. 82-218, changing the name of Loma Alta Park to Fairlands Park, <br />be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Mercer, Wood, and Vice Mayor Mohr <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Mayor Butler <br /> <br />REPORTS OF THE CITY MANAGER <br />Introduction of Amendment to Growth ManaSement ProSram Ordinance (Ordinance No. 1023) <br /> Mr. Harris presented his report (SR 82:215) dated June 15, 1982, regarding this <br />matter.
