135 <br /> <br /> CITY COUNCIL COMMITTEE REPORTS <br /> Councilmember Wood reported on the most recent ACAP/ACTEB meeting, stating that <br /> Pleasanton has been allocated $150,000 by the Department of Labor for vocational <br /> program, and $61,000 for out-of-school youth program. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Wood reported on the Solid Waste Management meeting, and stated <br /> that Councilmember Mercer is now the liaison member to this Board. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Wood stated that with the combined efforts of Sheriff Dyer, Super- <br />visors Excell and Bort, Ray Cedar of BART, and representatives of AC Transit, there <br />will be bus pick up for prisoners being released from Santa Rita prison twice daily, <br />between 8:00-10:00 a.m., and 6:00-9:00 p.m., which corresponds with the major release <br />times for prisoners, the bus stop being located west of Tassajara Road on the en- <br />trance drive to Santa Rita. <br /> <br />MEETING OPEN TO THE PUBLIC <br /> No one in the audience addressed the Chair. <br /> <br /> Mayor Butler stated that the two public hearings listed on the agenda regarding <br />Hacienda Business Park will be considered simultaneously and anyone wishing to speak <br />on either item may do so. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS <br />Application of the City of Pleasanton to amend the Land Use and Circulation Element, <br />the Growth ManaMement Element~ the General Plan Supplement and any other elements of <br />the General Plan where appropriate and neqessary to:.
