377 Councilmember Brandes suggested reviewing the possibility of selling the existing Police Building as a means of acquiring additional funds for the new police building. After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Wood, and seconded by Council- member Mercer, that Resolution No. 82-176, approving the plans and specifications for the police facility and authorizing the advertising for bids; authorizing the hiring of Stone and Youngberg as financial consultants and authorizing the appropriate City officials to sign the appropriate agreement; and authorizing the hiring of Orrick, Herrington and Sutcliffe as bond counsel and authorizing the appropriate City offi- cials to sign the appropriate agreement, be adopted. It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember Mercer, that Resolution No. 82-177, approving termination of a portion of the November 22, 1971, Agreement between Ponderosa Homes and the City of Pleasanton concerning the Hansen- Mix property, and authorizing the appropriate City officials to execute the agreement, be adopted.
