393 <br /> <br /> MINUTES <br /> of <br /> THE MEETING <br /> of <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> May 25, 1982 <br /> <br /> CALL TO ORDER - PLEDGE TO THE FLAG <br /> Mayor Robert Butler called the Regular Meeting of the City Council to order at <br /> 8:00 P.M., and then led the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. <br /> <br /> ROLL CALL <br /> Deputy City Clerk Doris George called the roll which is recorded as follows: <br /> Councilmembers Brandes, Mercer, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Butler were present. Mr. <br /> Walker, City Manager, Mr. Swift, Acting City Attorney, Mr. Warnick, Director of <br /> Public Works and Utilities, and Mr. Harris, Director of Planning and Community <br /> Development, were present. <br /> <br /> AGENDAAMENDMENTS <br /> Mr. Walker advised there would be an Executive Session held at the conclusion <br /> of this meeting to discuss pending litigation, labor relations, and personnel. <br /> <br /> CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember Mohr, that <br /> the following items listed on the Consent Calendar be approved: <br /> <br /> a. Approval of City Council Minutes for 5-11-82, 5-12-82, and 5-13-82. <br /> <br />b. Proclaim Sunday, June 6, 1982, as Family Day in Pleasanton. <br /> <br /> c. Proclaim June 14-July 4, 1982, as 21 days to Honor America. <br /> <br />d. Adoption of Ordinance No. 1038, approving the application of Reynolds and Brown <br /> for P.U.D. (Planned Unit Development) development plan approval for a second <br /> phase of development for the 56 acres of land located at the southwest corner <br /> of Hopyard Road and 1-580 in the vicinity of Bannister and Owens Drives. <br /> <br /> e. Adoption of Ordinance No. 1039, approving the application 6f the Roman Catholic <br /> Bishop of Oakland and Devcon Development, Inc., to rezone an approximately 3.9 <br /> acre parcel of land located on the east side of Santa Rita Road approximately <br /> 250 feet north of its intersection with the tracks of the Southern Pacific Trans- <br /> portation Company from the "A" (Agricultural) District to the I-P (Industrial <br /> Park) District. <br /> <br /> f. Adoption of Resolution No. 82-163, approving plans and specifications for the <br /> resurfacing of various City streets, Project No. 82-4, and authorization to call <br /> for bids. <br /> <br />g. Adoption of Resolution No. 82-164, approving plans and specifications for cathodic <br /> protection of the Interceptor Sewer Force Mains, and authorization to call for bids. <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Mercer, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Butler <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> Councilmember Wood abstained from voting on approval of the City Council Minutes <br />of May 12, 1982, due to his absence from that meeting. <br /> <br /> <br />
