Adoption of Resolution No. 82-153, after review of bids, awarding contract for <br /> Nuisance Abatement for 1982 to H & N Enterprises, at a cost of $29.50 per hour, <br /> and authorizing the appropriate city officials to execute the contract. <br /> <br />1. Adoption of Resolution No. 82-154, approving the permit application for the <br /> Amador-Livermore Valley Exchange Club 1982 Alameda County Fair Parade, to be <br /> held on June 27, 1982, subject to all conditions of the police and fire depart- <br /> ments, and amending the City's 1981-82 operating budget by $1,620.00, to cover <br /> costs incurred relative to this event. <br /> <br />m. Proclaim May 31 through June 5, 1982, as Native American Cultural Awareness Week. <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Mercer, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Butler <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />MATTERS INITIATED BY COUNCILMEMBERS <br /> Councilmember Brandes stated he was upset as to the fact that the Board of Super- <br />visors paid no need to Pleasanton as it applies to their proposed negative declaration <br />for the proposed new construction at the Santa Rita jail facility, when the City had <br />specifically requested that an Environmental Impact Report be completed on this pro- <br />ject. He asked the City Attorney if legal action could be taken against the County <br />regarding this matter. The City Attorney advised that the City has 30 days from the <br />filing of Notice df Determination to challenge the decision of the Council, and would <br />need substantiated facts regarding the impact of the proposed facility. Councilmember <br />Brandes moved that the City take whatever legal action necessary to challenge the <br />County relative to the negative declaration on the proposed Santa Rita Jail facility. <br />The City Attorney advised this matter should be discussed in Executive Session.
