COMMUNICATIONS There were no communications presented at this meeting. CITY COUNCIL CALENDAR Mr. Walker presented the City Council Calendar for the information of the Council. EXECUTIVE SESSION Mayor Butler recessed the meeting at 11:05 P.M., to an Executive Session to discuss pending litigation and personnel. Mayor Butler reconvened the meeting at 11:45 P.M. It was moved by Councilmember Mercer, and seconded by Councilmember Wood, that Resolution No. 82-161, approving a loan as part of compensation, in the amount of $160,000, to Police Chief William Eastman for housing purposes, be adopted. The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Mercer, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Butler NOES: None ABSENT: None It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember Mercer, that Resolution No. 82-162, directing the City Attorney to investigate and file suit against Alameda County, if necessary, regarding their use of a negative declaration in considering a proposed addition to the Santa Rita jail facility, be adopted. The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Mercer, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Butler NOES: None ABSENT: None ADJOURNMENT There being no further business at 11:50 P.M., it was moved by Councilmember Wood, and seconded by Councilmember Mercer, that the meeting be adjourned to meet again in Adjourned Regular Session on May 12, 1982, 7:00 P.M., in the Pleasanton Council Chambers.
