No action was required or taken by Council on this item. <br /> <br />REPORTS OF THE CITY MANAGER <br />Ac.ceptance of Public Improvements for Tract 4432~ COuntry Fair Unit No. 1 <br />(Contd. from 4-27-82) <br /> Mayor Butler declared this item continued to the meeting of May 25, 1982, at the <br />request of staff. <br /> <br />Consideration of Petitions for North Pleasanton Assessment District (Freeway and <br />Roadway Improvements <br /> Mr. Warnick presented his report (SR 82:171) dated May 5, 1982, regarding this <br />matter. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Brandes asked about including the West Las Positas overcrossing <br />in the assessment district. Mr. Warnick advised this could be done but to change <br />the request for FAU funding at this point could Jeopardize receiving the federal <br />funds. Mr. Walker stated this did not mean that Council should eliminate the West <br />Las Positas overcrossing from further discussions at a later time. Mr. Warnick <br />further advised that he felt the Johnson-Hopyard improvements discussed earlier <br />could be considered part of the Hopyard Road improvements included in the petition. <br /> <br /> Mayor Butler asked if anyone in the audience wished to speak on this item. <br /> <br /> Mr. Tom Andrews, 6537 Lansing, representing Valley Memorial Hospital, stated that <br />Valley Memorial Hospital did not sign the petition on the assessment district since <br />they are a public hospital, that they had some forgivings on being a part of the <br />assessment district, and that they would like to be forgiven from any assessments. <br /> <br /> Mr. Walker advised that the only action required tonight is listed in the staff <br />report, and that formal action will be taken at the meeting of May 25, 1982, to <br />initiate establishment of the assessment district. <br /> <br /> 12. 5/11/82 <br /> <br /> <br />
