497 MINUTES of THE MEETING of THE CITY COUNCIL April 6, 1982 INTERVIEWS FOR PLEASANTON HOUSING AUTHORITY TENANT REPRESENTATIVE The City Council met at 7:30 P.M., to interview the following persons for Kottinger Place representative on the Pleasanton Housing Authority Board: Fred Clinchard Marion Lowe CALL TO ORDER - PLEDGE TO THE FLAG Mayor Kenneth Mercer called the Adjourned Regular Meeting of the City Council to order at 8:00 P.M., and then led the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. ROLL CALL Deputy City Clerk Doris George called the roll which is recorded as follows: Councilmembers Butler, Kephart, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer were present. Mr. Walker, City Manager, Mr. Swift, Acting City Attorney, Mr. Warnick, Director of Public Works and Utilities, and Mr. Harris, Director of Planning and Community Development, were present. AGENDAAMENDMENTS Mr. Walker requested that item 12a - Request from Ms. Donna M. Miller to connect~ her residence to the City's Water System, be continued to the meeting of April 27, 1982. Councilmember Butler requested that an item be added as item 4g - Proclaiming the week of April 18-25, 1982, as National Library Week. Mr. Walker advised there would be an Executive Session held at the conclusion of this meeting to discuss pending litigation and labor relations. CONSENT CALENDAR It was moved by Councilmember Mohr, and seconded by Councilmember Kephart, that the following items listed on the Consent Calendar, as amended thereto, be approved. a. Approval of City Council Minutes for March 23, 1982. Councilmember Wood abstained from voting on this item due to his absence from the meeting. b. Proclaim April 18-24, 1982, as Professional Secretaries Week. c. Adoption of Resolution No. 82-112, approving plans and specifications for the improvement of Peters Avenue, Project No. 82-9, and authorization to call for bids. d. Adoption of Resolution No. 82-113, approving the authorization of Annexation No. 96, approximately 250 acres of land located at the easterly terminus of Junipero Street (Lund). e. Adoption of Resolution No. 82-114, to eliminate two parking stalls on Santa Rita Road located between the northerly driveway at the turnaround in front of the high school and the southerly driveway entrance to the student parking lot.
