Adoption of Resolution No. 82-99, approving the expenditure of Sewer Expansion <br /> Funds for Co-Generation Project at the Dublin S~n Ramon Services District Treat- <br /> ment Plant. <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Kephart, Mohr, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Wood <br /> <br />MATTERS INITIATED BY COUNCILMEMBERS <br /> Councilmember Kephart stated he had been contacted by several merchants commend- <br />ing the police department regarding their crack-down on the operation of several bars <br />and other problem areas in the City. It was moved by Councilmember Kephart, and <br />seconded by Councilmember Butler, to formally support the Chief of Police and his <br />department in their effective method of cleaning up problem areas in the City of <br />Pleasanton. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Kephart, Mohr, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Wood <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer stated there is pending legislation regarding the use of diamond <br />lanes which gives authority to the local transportation agencies regarding this <br />issue. The Acting City Attorney advised the bill has been amended and is in the <br />Assembly Ways and Means Committee at this time. After discussion, Council agreed <br />to support the concept and to review the bill further at the next meeting. <br /> <br /> 2. 3/23/82 <br /> <br /> <br />
