369 <br /> <br /> MINUTES <br /> of <br /> THE MEETING <br /> of <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> March 9, 1982 <br /> <br /> CALL TO ORDER - PLEDGE TO THE FLAG <br /> Mayor Kenneth Mercer called the Regular Meeting of the City Council to order at <br /> 8:00 P.M., and then led the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. <br /> <br /> ROLL CALL <br /> Deputy City Clerk Doris George called the roll which is recorded as follows: <br /> Councilmembers Butler, Kephart, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer were present. Mr. <br /> Walker, City Manager, Mr. Swift, Acting City Attorney, Mr. Warnick, Director of <br /> Public Works and Utilities, and Mr. Harris, Director of Planning and Community <br /> Development, were present. <br /> <br /> AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> Mr. Walker stated that item 8c - Application of the City of Pleasanton to fezone <br /> two parcels totalling approximately one acre at 1550 and 1588 Rose Avenue (Lane) from <br /> the "A" (Agricultural) to the R-l-20 or R-l-10 (Single-Family Residential) District <br /> and accompanying Negative Declaration, would be continued to the meeting of March 23, <br /> 1982, at the request of staff. <br /> <br /> Mr. Walker advised there would be an Executive Session held at the conclusion <br /> of this meeting to discuss labor relations. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Kephart requested that item 13a - Request to Resubmit Immobile <br /> Home Application, be moved on the agenda to item 9e. Council concurred. <br /> <br /> CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Butler, and seconded by Councilmember Mohr, that <br /> the following items listed on the Consent Calendar be approved. ~. <br /> <br /> a. Approval of City Council Minutes for February 23, 1982. <br /> <br />b. Proclaim April 17-25, 1982, as Health Fair Week in Pleasanton. <br /> <br /> c. Proclaim April 18-25, 1982, as Days of Remembrance in Pleasa~ton. <br /> <br />d. Adoption of Ordinance No. 1029, designating 200 Bernal Avenue, Pleasanton, <br /> California, as the place for holding regularly scheduled City Council meetings <br /> on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month at 8:00 p.m. <br /> <br />e. Adoption of Resolution No. 82-80, approving Agreement with the State of Cali- <br /> fornia for construction of a sidewalk on the easterly side of San Ramon Road- <br /> Foothill Road between Canyon Way and Dublin Boulevard near State Route 580, <br /> and authorizing the appropriate city officials to execute the agreement. <br /> <br />f. Adoption of Resolution No. 82-81, approving the installation of two-way stops <br /> on Morganfield at its intersection with Kolln, and on Flagstone at its inter- <br /> section with Drywood. <br /> <br />g. Adoption of Resolution No. 82-82, to eliminate parking for vehicles over 20 feet <br /> in length on the westerly side of First Street between Spring Street and the <br /> City park. <br /> <br /> <br />
