325 <br /> <br /> Mr. Walker requested that an item be added to the agenda as item 13g - Initia- <br /> tion of an ordinance designating place and time of regular City Council meetings. <br /> <br /> Mr. Walker requested that items 8a and 12b, relative to the Valley Business <br /> Park, be discussed together. <br /> <br /> Mr. Walker requested that items 9c and 9d, relative to the Growth Management <br /> Plan, be discussed together. <br /> <br /> Mr. Walker advised there would be an Executive Session held at the conclusion <br /> of this meeting to discuss pending litigation. <br /> <br /> INTRODUCTION OF BOY SCOUTS <br /> Councilmembers introduced their Boy Scout counterparts as follows: <br /> <br /> Councilmember Butler introduced Stephan Telm <br /> Councilmember Wood introduced Kyle Yamamoto <br /> Councilmember Mohr introduced Craig Stromberg <br /> Councilmember Kephart introduced Keith Rice <br /> Mayor Mercer introduced Mike Vader <br /> Director of Public Works Warnick introduced Jeff Bassetti <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer commended the "good kids" in Pleasanton and especially the Boy <br /> Scouts for their outstanding activities and achievements. He thanked Mr. Howard <br /> Neely for his coordination of Boy Scout Involvement Week in City government° <br /> <br /> CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Wood, and seconded by Councilmember Kephar~, that <br /> the following items listed on the Consent Calendar be approved. <br /> <br /> a. Approval of City Council Minutes for February 9, 1982. <br /> <br />b. Adoption of Ordinance No. 1022, approving the application of Joe Madden for <br /> Planned Unit Development zoning (P.U.D. Commercial and Offices) and determina- <br /> tion of uses allowed for an approximately 13.7 acre site located at the north- <br /> west corner of Stanley Boulevard and First Street. <br /> <br /> c. Adoption of Ordinance No. 1024, controlling Backflow and Cross-connections in <br /> the City Water System. <br /> <br />d. Adoption of Ordinance No. 1025, modifying the Condominium Conversion Ordinance <br /> to provide for additional statements of public policy regarding eviction and <br /> authorize denial of condominium conversion applications on that basis. <br /> <br /> e. Adoption of Resolution No. 82-58, approving Claims for the month of January, <br /> 1982, in the amount of $171,426.23. <br /> <br /> f. Adoption of Resolution No. 82-59, designating the Pleasanton Civic Center, <br /> 200 Bernal Avenue, as the central ballot counting place for the April 13, <br /> 1982, municipal election, designating polling places, and appointment of <br /> election officers. <br /> <br />g. Adoption of Resolution No. 82-60, approval of Final Map for Tract 4738, Country <br /> Fair, Unit 2, Ponderosa Homes. <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Kephart, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> 2. 2/23/82 <br /> <br /> <br />
