Adoption of Resolution No. 82-25, adopting the tie vote procedures for the April <br /> 1982 Municipal Election, to be "determination by lot". <br /> <br /> j. Adoption of Resolution No. 82-26, consolidating certain voting precincts within <br /> the City of Pleasanton for the upcoming Municipal Election on April 13, 1982, as <br /> follows: consolidate Precincts 52120, 52071, and 52072. <br /> <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: Councilmember Kephart <br /> <br /> MATTERS INITIATED BY COUNCILMEMBERS <br /> Councilmember Mohr requested that the Staff Traffic Committee review the traffic <br /> problems at the intersection of Pico and First Street, with the possibility of plac- <br /> ing left turn lanes and and out to the new housing development in this area. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Mohr stated that on February 4, 1982, the Board of Supervisors will <br /> be hearing an appeal regarding the gravel quarry on Foothill Road. She advised that <br /> one Supervisor is considering a compromise of a five year limit on the application. <br /> Councilmember Mohr requested a letter be sent to the Board of Supervisors reiterating <br /> the City of Pleasanton's opposition to approval of the gravel quarry, and opposition <br /> to any compromise relative to this application. Council concurred.
