227 It was moved by Councilmember Mercer, and seconded by Councilmember Brandes, that Ordinance No. 1061 approving the application of the City of Pleasanton to re- zone two portions of two parcels of land located at the northwest corner of Johnson Drive and Hopyard Road from PUD (Planned Unit Development)-Industrial/Commercial and Offices District to the C-F (Commercial Freeway) District, be adopted. REPORTS OF THE CITY MANAGER Matters for the Information of the Council Mayor Butler presented the Information Report of the Director of Public Works and Utilities (IR 82:30) dated November 30, 1982, transmitting the Minutes from the Staff Traffic Committee meeting of November 17, 1982. No action was required or taken by Council on this item. Mayor Butler presented the City Council Agenda Planning Report for the months of December, January, and February. REPORTS OF THE CITY ATTORNEY Authorization for Cit~Mana~e~. to sign Chan~e Order~ on New POlice Facility Mr. MacDonald advised it is necessary for Council to authorize the City Manager to sign change orders relative to the new police facility. It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Mayor Butler, that Resolu- tion No. 82-491, authorizing the City Manager to sign change orders for work on the new police faqility, be adopted. CITY COUNCIL CALENDAR Mr. Walker presented the City Council Calendar for the information of the Council. Mr. Walker advised that there had been a time extension to January 12, 1983, for receiving resumes for those pers6ns interested in serving as alternates on the various Boards and Commissions, and suggested that an evening other than Council meeting night be set up for interviews. He also advised that the terms of Yvan Albert and Christine Pearson as members of the Housing Authority Board will expire on January 25, 1983. 13. 12/13/82
