It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember Mercer, that <br /> Resolution No. 82-295, approving the application of Callahan-Pentz Properties for <br /> design approval for a two structure office complex of approximately 31,000 sq. ft. <br /> (one story) and 31,000 sq. ft. (one story) on an <br /> approximately 8.3 acre site, located on the east side of Hacienda Drive between <br /> Gibraltar Drive and West Las Positas Boulevard, subject to all of the conditions <br /> recommended by staff, be adopted. <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brnades, Mercer, Wood, and Mayor Butler <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Mohr <br /> <br />Application of the City of Pleasanton to amend Article 16~ Chapter 2~ Title II of <br />the Ordinance Code of t~ City of Pleasanton to allow for "compact" parking spaces <br />as a proportion of the total required number of parking spaces for projects in <br />other than the PUD (Planned Unit Development) and C-R (Commercial Regional) zoning <br />districts <br /> Mr. Harris presented his report (SR 82:294) dated August 2, 1982, regarding this <br />matter. <br /> <br /> Mayor Butler declared the public hearing open on this item. <br /> <br /> No one in the audience spoke in favor of or in opposition to this application. <br /> Mayor Butler declared the public hearing closed. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Mercer stated he did not understand the percentages involved be- <br />tween lO1 parking spaces or more at 50% and less than 100 parking spaces at 30%; <br />and felt this is not logical.
