CITY MANAGER REPORTS Review of Construction Bids for Police Faci~t~ and Request Pleasanton Public Facilities Corporation to Obtain Bond Bids Mr. Walker presented his report (SR 82:301) dated August 4, 1982, regarding this matter. He stated that bids were opened this date and that Almco Construction Company was the low bidder in the amount of $1,229,000. After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Council- member Mercer, that Resolution No. 82-291, stating that the low bid of Almco Con- struction Company in the amount of $1,229,000 was acceptable to Council; taking formal action to notify the Pleasanton Public Facilities Corporation to proceed and award the contract and proceed with the bond sale; approving the official statement for the bond sale; and approving a bond structuring program allowing for a five year call of bonds, be adopted.
