He added that should the County <br />wish to construct new jail facilities in contravention of the above, the County <br />agreed to complete an Environmental Impact Report. Council con- <br />curred. <br /> <br />CITY MANAGER REPORTS <br />Review of Construction Bids for Police Faci~t~ and Request Pleasanton Public <br />Facilities Corporation to Obtain Bond Bids <br /> Mr. Walker presented his report (SR 82:301) dated August 4, 1982, regarding <br />this matter. He stated that bids were opened this date and that Almco Construction <br />Company was the low bidder in the amount of $1,229,000. <br /> <br /> After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Council- <br />member Mercer, that Resolution No. 82-291, stating that the low bid of Almco Con- <br />struction Company in the amount of $1,229,000 was acceptable to Council; taking <br />formal action to notify the Pleasanton Public Facilities Corporation to proceed and <br />award the contract and proceed with the bond sale; approving the official statement <br />for the bond sale; and approving a bond structuring program allowing for a five year <br />call of bonds, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Mercer, Wood, and Mayor Butler <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Mohr <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS <br />Application of Castlewood Prope!t_i. es~ Inc., Everett and Dixie Kamp~ Merle and Paul <br />Kral and Helen Crouch for rezoning to allow a Rhased mixed density residential pro- <br />ject on approximateIX 58 acres of land located at the northeast corner of Oakland <br />and Mohr Avenues. Open from 7-27-82) <br /> Mr. Harris presented his report (SR 82:291) dated August 2, 1982, regarding this <br />matter.
