Councilmember Mercer withdrew his motion to refer these items to the Park and <br />Recreation Commission, and Councilmember Brandes withdrew his second. <br /> <br /> After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Mercer, and seconded by Council- <br />member Wood, that Resolution No. 82-307, after review of bids, award the contract <br />for the rehabilitation of the Westwind Building, Project No. 82-11, to Garretto <br />Associates, Inc., in the amount of $26,610.00, and authorizing the appropriate City <br />officials to execute the contract, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Mercer, Wood, and Mayor Butler <br />NOES: Councilmember Brandes <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Mohr <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Mercer, and seconded by Councilmember Wood, that <br />Resolution No. 82-308, after review of bids, award the contract for construction of <br />Amador Park Improvements, Project No. 82-10, to Deetz Construction Company in the <br />amount of $124,909.65; authorize application for, and commitment of, $4,127 from <br />Roberti-Z'Berg block grant funds for Amador Park Improvements; commit the $5,000 <br />Simpson Family donation to the Amador Park Project; increase the appropriation for <br />current Amador Park Project by $42,000 and reduce the 1982-83 budgeted amount of <br />$200,000 for Amador Park Improvements to $158,000; and authorizing the appropriate <br />City officials to execute the various documents, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Mercer, Wood, and Mayor Butler <br />NOES: Councilmember Brandes <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Mohr <br /> <br /> Councilmember Wood advised there is a private citizen willing to donate $500.00 <br />for trees for this project. <br /> <br />REPORTS OF THE CITY ATTORNEY <br />Review of Stoneridge Development Agreement <br /> Mr. Swift presented his report (SR 82:287) dated July 29, 1982, regarding this <br />matter. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Mercer, and seconded by Councilmember Wood, that <br />the project is in compliance and that no formal action by Council is required. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Mercer, Wood, and Mayor Butler <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Mohr <br /> <br />COMMUNICATIONS <br /> There were no communications presented at this meeting. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL CALENDAR <br /> Mr. Walker presented the City Council Calendar for the information of the <br />Council. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Mercer amended the Calendar to add the following: <br /> <br />August 21, 1982 - Aquatic Dinner <br />August 31, 1982, 7:30 P.M. - Meeting regarding Bond Issue of Police Building <br />September 14, 1982, 5:00 P.M. - Hearing on Affordable Housing (Ed Parish) <br /> <br /> 14. 8/10/82 <br /> <br /> <br />
