Mayor Butler requested the Staff Traffic Committee to investigate placing a <br />Yield sign southbound on Main Street where it merges with First Street, as there <br />seems to be some problems at this location. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL COMMITTEE REPORTS <br />Councilmember Wood reported on various appointments to Alameda County Boards and <br />Commissions, and lack of funding for continuance of the Small Growth Business Center. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Mayor Butler, and seconded by Councilmember Brandes, requesting <br />and endorsing that Christine Pearson be reappointed as a member of the Alameda County <br />Housing Authority Commission. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Mercer, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Butler <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> Mr. Walker advised that a Referendum Petition opposing amendment to the Growth <br />Management Element of the General Plan in connection with Hacienda Business Park had <br />been presented this date, with sufficient signatures. Zoning for the property is PUD (Planned <br />Unit Development) General and Limited Industrial District <br /> <br />Consider Adoption of Negative Declaration <br /> After discussion, Mayor Butler declared this item dismissed from the agenda, at <br />the request of staff. <br /> <br />Application of Richard Parejo for PUD (Planned Unit Development) development plan <br />approval of a 9 lot single-family residential develoRment on approxim.a~ely eight <br />acres of land located at the southeast corner of Amber Lane and Mockingbird Lane. <br />Zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development)-Low D.en~ity Residential <br />District <br /> Mr. Harris presented his report (SR 83:553) dated November 30, 1983, regarding <br />this matter. <br /> <br /> Mayor Butler declared the public hearing open on this item. <br /> <br /> Mr. Richard Parejo, 6452 Amber Lane, stated the development plan is the same one <br />that was presented last year and has the support of the Happy Valley Homeowners Asso- <br />ciation. <br /> <br /> No one in the audience spoke in opposition to this item. <br /> <br /> Mayor Butler declared the public hearing closed. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember Mohr, that <br />Ordinance No. 1117, to be read by title only and waiving further reading thereof, <br />approving the application of Richard Parejo for PUD (Planned Unit Development) develop- <br />ment plan approval of a 9 lot single-family residential development on approximately <br /> <br /> 4. 12/6/83 <br /> <br /> <br />
