' 375- <br /> <br />acre site located at the southwest corner of Stoneridge Drive and 1-680, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Mercer, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Butler <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> It was moved by Mayor Butler, and seconded by Councilmember Wood, that the appli- <br />cation of the City of Pleasanton to amend the general plan land use designation from <br />High Density Residential to Medium Density Residential for a 6.6 acre site located at <br />the southwest corner of Stoneridge Drive and 1-680, be approved. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Mercer, Wood, and Mayor Butler <br />NOES; Councilmembers Brandes and Mohr <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Application of Murray School District to amend the general plan land use designation <br />on an approximately ~1.9 acre site located on the north side of Muirwood Drive between <br />Springdale Avenue and Forest Hill Drive from Schools to Medium Den.sity Residential <br /> <br />Consider Adoption of Negative Declaration <br /> Mr. Harris presented his report (SR 83:536) dated November 28, 1983, regarding <br />this matter. <br /> <br /> Mayor Butler declared the public hearing open on the application and the negative <br />declaration. <br /> <br /> Mr. Gary Gilmore, attorney representing the Murray School District, stated he con- <br />curred with the staff report and Planning Commission recommendation. He stated the <br />School District desparately needs the money from this land sale to use for upkeep of <br />the school facilities. <br /> <br /> Mr. Jack Hovingh, 4250 Muirwood Drive, stated he favored this change and also the <br />one recommended for the Pleasanton School District (the following item on the agenda), <br />adding that the City needs all available land for housing. <br /> <br /> No one in the audience spoke in opposition to this item. <br /> <br /> There being no further testimony, Mayor Butler declared the public hearing closed <br />on the application and the negative declaration. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Mercer, and seconded by Councilmember Mohr, that <br />Resolution No. 83-544, determining on the basis of a review of initial environmental <br />study done for this project, that no significant environmental impact would occur as <br />outlined in the City's guidelines and that a negative declaration is appropriate to <br />approve the application of Murray School District to amend the general plan land use <br />designation on an approximately 11.9 acre site located on the north side of Muirwood <br />Drive between Springdale Avenue and Forest Hill Drive from Schools to Medium Density <br />Residential, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Mercer, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Butler <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAINED: Councilmember Brandes <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Mercer, and seconded by Councilmember Mohr, that <br />the application of Murray School District to amend the general plan land use designa- <br />tion on an approximately 11.9 acre site located on the north side of Muirwood Drive <br /> <br /> 12. 12/6/83 <br /> <br /> <br />
