He stated the <br />School District desparately needs the money from this land sale to use for upkeep of <br />the school facilities. <br /> <br /> Mr. Jack Hovingh, 4250 Muirwood Drive, stated he favored this change and also the <br />one recommended for the Pleasanton School District (the following item on the agenda), <br />adding that the City needs all available land for housing. <br /> <br /> No one in the audience spoke in opposition to this item. <br /> <br /> There being no further testimony, Mayor Butler declared the public hearing closed <br />on the application and the negative declaration. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Mercer, and seconded by Councilmember Mohr, that <br />Resolution No. 83-544, determining on the basis of a review of initial environmental <br />study done for this project, that no significant environmental impact would occur as <br />outlined in the City's guidelines and that a negative declaration is appropriate to <br />approve the application of Murray School District to amend the general plan land use <br />designation on an approximately 11.9 acre site located on the north side of Muirwood <br />Drive between Springdale Avenue and Forest Hill Drive from Schools to Medium Density <br />Residential, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Mercer, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Butler <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAINED: Councilmember Brandes <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Mercer, and seconded by Councilmember Mohr, that <br />the application of Murray School District to amend the general plan land use designa- <br />tion on an approximately 11.9 acre site located on the north side of Muirwood Drive <br /> <br /> 12. 12/6/83 <br /> <br /> <br />
