423 It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember Mercer, that Resolution No. 83-455, declaring the parcel of City land at the northeast corner of Rose Avenue and Peters Avenue as surplus; determining that the fair market value of the property is $45,800.00; directing staff to notify all agencies required by law to be given first opportunity to purchase surplus property; and if no such agency wishes to purchase the property, authorize staff to advertise for bids for the sale of the property with a minimum acceptable bid price of $45,800.00, be adopted. It was moved by Councilmember Mercer, and seconded by Councilmember Brandes, to advertise for the vacancy on the Human Services Commission with a closing date of October 26, 1983, and inviting Mr. Case to reapply for consideration to this appoint- ment.
