.307 <br /> <br />Schedule Joint Meeting with Planning Commission <br /> After discussion, Council determined to wait until Mayor Butler returns to sche- <br />dule a date to meet with the Planning Commission. Vice Mayor Mercer instructed staff <br />to place this matter on the July 12th Council agenda. <br /> <br />REPORTS OF THE CITY MANAGER <br />Study of the intersection of Vineyard. Avenue and Adams Way <br /> Mr. Warnick presented his report (SR 83:214) dated June 9, 1983, regarding this <br />matter, advising that it is staff's recommendation that a thpee-way stop sign on <br />Vineyard Avenue at Adams Way is not necessary or advisable at this time. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Wood, that a three-way stop sign be installed on <br />Vineyard Avenue at Adams Way. <br /> <br /> The motion died for lack of a second. <br /> <br />Request to Change Time of General Plan Land Use Amendment Considerations from August <br />to June <br /> Mr. Harris presented his report (SR 83:224) dated June 8, 1983, regarding this <br />matter. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Brandes stated he is opposed to any change in past policy. He <br />stated the present schedule of considering general plan amendments in April, August, <br />and November appeared to be satisfactory and he felt any change to this schedule <br />would set a bad precedent. He advised he would not support changing the general <br />plan timing, and felt it would be improper to do so. <br /> <br /> After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Wood, and seconded by Council- <br />member Mohr, to change the general plan amendment considerations scheduled for August <br />to be considered on July 12, 1983, and to advise any applicant who might be affected <br />by this change. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Mohr, Wood, Vice Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: Councilmember.~randes <br />ABSENT: Mayor Butler/ <br /> <br />Report on Inconsistencies between zoning and general plan on Meadow Plaza Associates <br />Property at san~ ~ita Road and West Las Positas <br /> Mr. Harris presented his report (SR 83:225) dated June 8, 1983, regarding this <br />matter. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember Mohr, that <br />Meadow Plaza Associates be given until the end of 1983 to either submit a new general <br />plan amendment or rezoning application and that if this does not occur within that <br />time period, the staff will recommend action to be taken by the City. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Mohr, Wood, and Vice Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Mayor Butler <br /> <br />Update and Revision of the Business License Fee Schedule <br /> Mrs. Wagner presented her report (SR 83:195) dated June 8, 1983, regarding this <br />matter. <br /> <br /> Mr. Martin Inderbitzen, 4102 Fairlands, representing the Chamber of Commerce, <br />presented a letter from the Chamber of Commerce dated June 10, 1983, setting forth <br />their position regarding the business license fees.
