No action was required or taken <br />by Council on this item; except for Councilmember Brandes' appeal of the <br />Tentative Map approval for Tract 4117, Crocker Homes, previously mentioned in <br />these minutes. <br /> <br />REPORTS OF THE CITY MANAGER <br />Report on Pleasanton Housing Group, Inc., Re: Affordable Housing Development <br /> This matter was continued to the meeting of April 26, 1983. <br /> <br />Approval of Foothill High School FalCon Boosters 10K Run Permit Application <br /> The report of the Assistant to the City Manager (SR 83:108) dated <br />March 17, 1983, was reviewed. Mr. Walker indicated there should be a condition <br />added that the City be named as an additional insured on the policy covering <br />this event. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Mercer, and seconded by Councilmember <br />Brandes, that Resolution No. 83-114, approving the application of Foothill <br />High School Falcon Boosters for a iOK Run, subject to the conditions in <br />the staff report and the additional condition that the City of Pleasanton <br />be added as an additional named insured, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Mercer, Mohr, Wood and Mayor Butler <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />REPORTS OF THE CITY ATTORNEY <br />Report on Solid Waste Facilities Planning Fees (AB 561) <br /> Councilmember Mercer briefly reviewed AB 561, which requests an added <br />tax of one cent per ton of solid waste. This would generate about $1,800 <br />per year and the budget of the Solid Waste Management Board is $81,000, <br />meaning that the balance would have to come from the y s General Fund. <br /> Cit ' <br />He indicated Council should not be in favor of this bill because the funds <br />generated are not enough to do any good. <br /> <br /> -6- 3/22/83 <br /> <br /> <br />
