It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember Mohr, that Ordinance No. 1078, approvin~ the application of Duncan Matteson and John Ferreri for PUD (Planned Unit Development)-High Density Residential zoning and development plan approval for a 154 unit multi-family residential project on approximately 8.8 acres of land located at 4323 and 4365 Valley Avenue, be adopted. Mr. Harris presented his report (SR 83:97) dated March 10, 1983, regarding this matter for the information of the Council. No action was required or taken by Council on this item; except for Councilmember Brandes' appeal of the Tentative Map approval for Tract 4117, Crocker Homes, previously mentioned in these minutes. REPORTS OF THE CITY MANAGER Report on Pleasanton Housing Group, Inc., Re: Affordable Housing Development This matter was continued to the meeting of April 26, 1983. Approval of Foothill High School FalCon Boosters 10K Run Permit Application The report of the Assistant to the City Manager (SR 83:108) dated March 17, 1983, was reviewed. Mr. Walker indicated there should be a condition added that the City be named as an additional insured on the policy covering this event. It was moved by Councilmember Mercer, and seconded by Councilmember Brandes, that Resolution No. 83-114, approving the application of Foothill High School Falcon Boosters for a iOK Run, subject to the conditions in the staff report and the additional condition that the City of Pleasanton be added as an additional named insured, be adopted. The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Mercer, Mohr, Wood and Mayor Butler NOES: None ABSENT: None REPORTS OF THE CITY ATTORNEY Report on Solid Waste Facilities Planning Fees (AB 561) Councilmember Mercer briefly reviewed AB 561, which requests an added tax of one cent per ton of solid waste. This would generate about $1,800 per year and the budget of the Solid Waste Management Board is $81,000, meaning that the balance would have to come from the y s General Fund.
