225 MINUTES of THE MEETING of THE CITY COUNCIL February 22, 1983 CALL TO ORDER Mayor Robert Butler called the Regular Meeting of the City Council to order at 8:00 P.M., and then led the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. ROLL CALL Deputy City Clerk Doris George called the roll which is recorded as follows: Councilmembers Brandes, Mercer, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Butler were present. Mr. Walker, City Manager, Mr. MacDonald, City Attorney, Mr. Warnick, Director of Public Works and Utilities, Mr. Harris, Director of Planning and Community Development, and Mrs. Wagner, Director of Finance, were present. AGENDA AMENDMENTS Mr. Walker requested that item 9c - Industrial Pretreatment Program Ordinance, be continued to the meeting of March 8, 1983, at the request of staff. Mr. Walker requested that item 12d - Report on Pleasanton Housing Group, Inc., Re: Affordable Housing Development, be continued to the meeting of March 22, 1983, at the request of staff. Mr. Walker requested that item 12e - Further Discussion of Land Transfer to Zone 7 for Administrative Offices, be continued to the meeting of March 8, 1983, at the request of staff. Mr. Walker advised there would be an Executive Session held at the conclusion of this meeting to discuss pending litigation. CONSENT CALENDAR It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember Wood, that the following items listed on the Consent Calendar, be approved: a. Approval of City Council Minutes for 2-8-83. b. Proclaim the Month of May 1983 as Deaf Awareness Month in Pleasanton. c. Accept audit of financial transactions for Fiscal Year 1981-82; no Council action was required or taken on this item. d. Adoption of Resolution No. 83-56, appropriating the excess funds in fiscal year 1982 in the amou'nt of $997,600.60 to the Contingency Reserve fund to meet exist- ing contractual obligations. e. Adoption of Resolution No. 83-57, approving amendment to the 1978 agreement between Dublin San Ramon Services District and the City of Pleasanton. f. Adoption of Resolution No. 83-58, approving cooperation agreement between the County of Alameda and the City of Pleasanton regarding issuance of Mortgage Revenue Bonds for single-family housing and authorizing the Mayor to execute for and on behalf of the City.
