connection with the application of the City of Pleasanton to adopt its Housing Element <br />Update per Section 65588(a) of the Government Code, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Butler, and seconded by Council- <br />mendper Mohr, that Resolution No. 84-600, approving the Housing Element Update per <br />Section 65588(a) of the Government Code, as presented in Staff Report 84:633, dated <br />November 27, 1984, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />MATTERS CONTINUED FOR DECISION <br />Adoption of Ordinance No. 11649 amending Article 1, Chapter 7. (Traffic Regulation <br />Applyin~ to Private Property)~ Title V of the Ordinance Code~ relative to removal <br />of vehicles from private property <br />(Intro. 10-30-~4, 5-Ayes) <br />(Contd. from 11-13-84) <br /> Mayor Mercer declared this item continued indefinitely at the request of staff. <br /> <br />SPECIAL REPORTS <br /> There were no special reports presented at this meeting. <br /> <br />REPORTS OF BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS <br />Actions Taken by the Design Review Board and Planning Commission at their meeting of <br />11-14-84 <br /> Mr. Harris presented his report (SR 84:617) dated November 15, 1984, regarding <br />this matter. No action was required or taken by Council on the item. <br /> <br />REPORTS OF THE CITY MANAGER <br />Consideration of Re2uest from Roy E. Howe to allow a MaSOnry Wall to Remain on City <br />Right-of-Way in front of 645 Abbie Street <br /> Mr. Warnick presented his report (SR 84:621) dated November 27, 1984, regarding <br />this matter. <br /> <br /> Mr. Roy E. Howe, 645 Abbie Street, stated he would appreciate any consideration <br />from Council to retain the wall and that he will accept all responsibility for liability <br />in connection with the wall on public right-of-way. <br /> <br /> After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Council- <br />member Butler, that Resolution No. 84-601, denying the request of Roy E. Howe to allow <br />a masonry wall to remain on City right-of-way in front of 645 Abbie Street, and in- <br />structing staff to advise Mr. Howe to remove the portion of the wall on city property <br />at the earliest possible date, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, and Wood <br />NOES: Councilmember Mohr and Mayor Mercer <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />PUD-79-2-4M, Minor Modification to Twelve Oaks PUD pertainin~ to fence type <br /> Mr. Harris presented his report (SR 84:623) dated November 27, 1984, regarding <br />this matter. <br /> <br /> 6. 11/ /84 <br /> <br /> <br />
