125 <br /> <br /> REPORTS OF THE CITY ATTORNEY <br /> Consider Ordinance Establishing Private Right of Enforcement for Persons affected <br /> Violations of City Ordinances <br /> (Contd. from 10-3b-84) <br /> Mr. MacDonald presented his report (SR 84:614) dated November 6, 1984, regarding <br /> this matter. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember Butler, that <br /> Ordinance No.-1171, to be read by title only and waiving further reading thereof, amend- <br /> ing Title I of the Pleasanton Municipal Code by the addition of Section 1-1.20 which <br /> declares any use contrary to the Pleasanton Municipal Code or any condition imposed <br /> pursuant thereto to be a public nuisance enforceable by an injunction brought by the <br />~ City or any affected property owner or occupant, be introduced. <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br />~'~ AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />LO NOES: None <br />~J ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> COMMUNICATIONS <br /> There were no Communications presented at this meeting. <br /> <br /> CITY COUNCIL CALENDAR <br /> Mr. Walker presented the City Council Calendar for the information of the <br /> Council. <br /> <br /> Mr. Walker advised that Council recently requested that interviews of candidates <br /> -- for the three vacancies on the Human Services Commission be scheduled after the Novem- <br /> ber 6th election. After discussion, Council determined to interview candidates for <br /> consideration to fill the vacancies on the Human Services Commission on November 27, <br /> 1984, beginning at 7:00 P.M. Council instructed staff to contact the candidates to <br /> determine if they are still interested in serving on this Commission. <br /> <br /> EXECUTIVE SESSION <br /> Mayor Mercer recessed the meeting at 10:00 P.M., to an Executive Session to discuss <br /> personnel, labor relations, and pending litigation. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer reconvened the meeting at 11:00 P.M. <br /> <br /> ADJOURNMENT <br /> There being no further business at 11:05 P.M., it was moved by Councilmember Butler, <br /> and seconded by Councilmember Mohr, that the meeting be adjourned to meet again in <br /> Regular Session on November 27, 1984, 8:00 P.M., in the Pleasanton Council Chambers. <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> <br /> <br /> S'R.
