Adoption of Resolution No. 84-314, approving modification to agreement between <br /> the City of Pleasanton and EBI Services, Inc., and authorizing execution of the <br /> modified agreement by the appropriate city officials. <br /> <br />p. Adoption of Resolution No. 84-315, approving final map for Tract 5248, Mohr Park <br /> Unit 1 - Shea Homes, contingent upon the final abandonment of Oakland Avenue, and <br /> approving the improvement plans and subdivision agreement, and also approving the <br /> start of construction of on-site public improvements excluding improvements on <br /> Oakland Avenue; and authorizing execution of the Subdivision Agreement by the <br /> appropriate city officials. <br /> <br />q. Adoption of Resolution No. 84-318, approving Tract Map 5168 - Condominium Conver- <br /> sion at 4359 Fairlands Drive. <br /> <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: Mayor Mercer on item 4m <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />MATTERS INITIATED BY COUNCILMEMBERS <br /> There were no matters initiated by Councilmembers at this meeting. <br /> <br /> CITY COUNCIL COMMITTEE REPORTS <br /> There were no City Council Committee reports presented by Councilmembers. <br /> <br /> MEETING OPEN TO THE PUBLIC <br /> Mrs. Sharrell Michelotti, 7873 Olive Court, stated she is concerned with traffic <br /> control at Muirwood Drive once the West Las Positas overcrossing and the Foothill Road- <br /> West Las Positas signal is completed. She stated that staff reports indicate the stop <br /> signs on West Las Positas Boulevard will be removed when these improvements are in <br /> operation around September 1st, when school starts. She requested that the stop signs <br /> not be removed and that staff monitor this intersection, in order to protect children <br /> going to Lydiksen School. After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Brandes, <br /> and seconded by Councilmember Butler, that Resolution No. 84-319, modifying previous <br /> direction for automatic removal of the West Las Positas Boulevard stop signs, and re- <br /> quiring staff to monitor the traffic situation and return with a recommendation con- <br /> cerning the stop signs, need for crossing guards, etc~, after school has begun, be <br /> adopted. <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> Andrew Shaper, 386 Division Street, presented a petition to Council, signed <br /> by 12 residents in the area, requesting that the downtown park site on Peters Avenue <br /> be purchased as soon as possible. The petition also requested that Council improve <br /> downtown streets as early as possible. Mayor Mercer stated this is a matter that <br /> should be discussed with consideration of the 1984-85 Operating Budget, which is <br /> item 8f on the agenda. <br /> 3. 6/26/84 <br /> <br /> <br />
