Mr. Mike Harris, representing Pleasanton Housing Group, Inc., stated this group <br />wholeheartedly endorse the plan and recommend approval. <br /> <br /> After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Council- <br />member Mohr, to initiate a general plan amendment on the corporation yard property and <br />the 20 acres of City owned land immediately to the west from "Public and Institutional" <br />and "General and Limited Industrial" to "High Density Residential", "Parks and Recrea- <br />tion", and "Public and Institutional". <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: Illone <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Butler <br /> <br />Industrial General Plan Review Committee's Recommendations for Fiscal Year 1984-85 <br /> Mr. Harris presented his and Chandler Lee's report (SR 84:265) dated May 11, 1984, <br />regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Mayor Mercer, and seconded by Councilmember Brandes, to approve <br />the report of the Industrial General Plan Review Committeets recommendations for Fiscal <br />Year 1984-85, as presented in Staff Report 84:265. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmem]Der Butler <br /> <br />~equest for Annexation from John Caroline, F. M. Riccio, and Sylvia Riccio for <br />a~pproximately 6 acres on the North Side of Vineyard Avenue <br /> Mr. Bob Graham, representing John Caroline who was unable to attend the meeting, <br />asked that this item be reconsidered and that he would answer any questions Council <br />had relative to the issue. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Wood, and seconded by Councilmember Brandes, to <br />reconsider this item. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Butler <br /> <br /> After reconsideration, it was moved by Councilmember Wood, and seconded by <br />Councilmember Mohr, instructing staff to prepare a formal resolution requesting the <br />annexation and an application to LAFCO from Sylvia Riccio, F. M. Riccio, and John <br />Caroline for their properties which total six acres on Vineyard Avenue opposite Mavis <br />Drive; requiring the property owners to have an acceptable legal description and map <br />of the proposed annexation meeting LAFCO standards prepared by a licensed civil engi- <br />neer or land surveyor, and that the applicants be required to pay the LAFCO and State <br />processing fees; and notifying the adjacent property owners of the time the resolu- <br />tions will be considered by Council. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Butler <br /> <br />Matters for the Information of the Council <br />Evaluation of Stop Signs Installed on Main Street at Bernal Avenue and St. Mary Street <br /> Mr. Warnick presented his report (IR 84:34) dated May 22, 1984, regarding this <br />matter.
