Mr. Warnick advised that a consultant is work- <br /> ing on the design with the developer and the homeowners, which should be finaled by <br /> mid-June. He stated that construction should commence in July with a completion date <br /> of September or October. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Wood asked about the status of the completion of the soundwall for <br /> Ponderosa tIomes. Mr. Warnick stated there are two projects; one for Ponderosa Homes <br /> and another for Barrett Homes, and that construction should be started around July 15 <br /> and September 1st. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Wood requested that staff investigate replacing a bus stop bench at <br /> Valley Avenue and Santa Rita Road. <br /> <br /> Vice Mayor Brandes asked if Barrett Homes would be allowed to open their models <br /> before the west side of Valley Avenue and the soundwall are completed.
