MINUTES of THE MEETING of THE CITY COUHCIL May 8, 1984 At 6:40 P.M., Councilmembers Mohr, Wood, and Vice Mayor Brandes interviewed the following persons for consideration as tenant representatives on the Pleasanton HousinE Authority Board: Kottinger Place Representative Marion Lowe Melvin Mosier Arroyo Vista Representative Patricia E. Ali Laurianne Behrens Debra J. Hunt RoxAnne Lawson Peggy Taylor Delcea Wills CALL TO ORDER Vice Mayor Frank C. Brandes, Jr., called the Regular Meeting of the City Council to order at 8:00 P.M., and then led the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. ROLL CALL Deputy City Clerk Doris George called the roll which is recorded as follows: Councilmembers Mohr, Wood, and Vice Mayor Brandes were present. Councilmember Butler and Mayor Mercer were absent. Mr. Walker, City Manager, Mr. MacDonald, City Attorney, Mr. Warnick, Director of Public Works and Utilities, Mr. Glenn, Assistant Planner, and Mr. Stewart, Chief Building Inspector, were present. ~ AGENDA AMENDMENTS Mr. Walker requested that item 8a - Application of the City of Pleasanton to amend the provisions of Ordinance No. 885, rezoning approximately 61 acres immediately north of the Pleasanton Sports and Recreation Park, to delete Section 4(1)(d) guaranteeing "no street access from the development to Sutter Gate (Drive)", and consideration of Negative Declaration, be continued to the City Council meeting of May 22, 1984, to allow additional time to work out alternatives. Mr. Walker requested that item 8b - Application of Frank Auf der Maur for PUD (Planned Unit Development)-development plan approval of an approximately 38 acre com- mercial business park consisting of 32 commercial lots ranging in size from 0.5 to over 1.0 acre in size and related facilities to be located at the eastern terminus of the De! Valle Parkway - southeast of the intersection of Washington Street and Stanley Boulevard, and consideration of Mitigated Negative Declaration, be continued to the City Council meeting of May 22, 1984, at the request of the applicant. Mr. Walker requested that two items be added to Reports of the City Manager, as follows: item 12e - Request of Amador Associates for Low Income Housing Exemption. item 12f - Request for Growth Management Approval Time Extension, Cliff Preston, Tract 5283 (9 units, Mission and Dolores).
