After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Wood, and seconded by Council- <br />member Butler, that Resolution No. 84-183, taking the following actions relative to <br />the ACTEB/ACAP joint powers agreement: (1) that the City Council rescind its March <br />13, 1984 approval of the ACTEB/ACAP Joint Powers Agreement amendments with reapproval <br />contingent upon the redistribution of Berkeleyts voting power; (2) that the City <br />Council authorize the City Attorney, in consultation with Councilmember Wood, to join <br />with either ACTEB/ACAP or other cities, as appropriate, in responding to the Berkeley <br />lawsuit; and (3) that the City Council go on record as: (a) being willing to accept <br />Berkeley as a member of the ACAP/ACTEB governing body, and (b) as being supportive of <br />Berkeley being established as a separate SDA, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Results of Election <br /> Mayor Mercer announced that the votes had been tabulated on Measure A; that the <br />Measure had passed with a vote of 6,159 in favor, and 3,962 opposed. <br /> <br />COMMUNICATIONS <br /> There were no Communications presented at this meeting. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL CALENDAR <br /> Mr. Walker presented the City Council Calendar for the information of the Council. <br /> <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION <br /> Mayor Mercer recessed the meeting at 10:00 P.M., to an Executive Session to dis- <br />cuss labor relations. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer reoonvened the meeting at 10:20 P.M. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> There being no further business at 10:25 P.M., it was moved by Councilmember Mohr, <br />and seconded by Councilmember Wood, that the meeting be adjourned to meet again in <br />Regular Session on April 24, 1984, 8:00 P.M., in the Pleasanton Council Chambers. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Respectfully submitted, <br /> <br /> R.
