REPORTS OF THE CITY MANAGER Repor!. on Request for Annexation - 120 Acres on Foothill Road opposite West Las Positas Boulevard Mr. Warnick presented his report (SR 84:156) dated March 21, 1984, regarding this matter. It was moved by Councilmember Mercer, and seconded by Mayor Butler, instructing staff to prepare a formal resolution requesting the annexation and an application to LAFCO for 120 acres on Foothill Road opposite West Las Positas Boulevard, owned by Herbert Garms, and requiring this application have an acceptable legal description and map of the proposed annexation (meeting LAFCO standards) prepared by a licensed civil engineer or land surveyor, and that the applicant be required to pay the LAFCO and State processing fees. The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Mercer, Wood, and Mayor Butler NOES: None ABSENT: Councilmember Mohr Fiscal Impact Report Update on North Pleasanton Area Development Mrs. Wagner presented her report (SR 84:172) dated March 22, 1984, regarding this matter, for the information of the Council. Council commended Mrs. Wagner on her excellent report. No action was required or taken by Council on this item. Councilmember Mercer requested that a copy of the report be sent to the various homeowners associations within the City as well as the news media and other interested parties. Work Program for Conducting a General Plan Umdate Mr. Walker presented the report of the Director of Planning and Community Develop- ment and Consultant Chandler Lee (SR 84:144) dated March 9, 1984, regarding this matter. It was moved by Councilmember Mercer, and seconded by Councilmember Brandes, that Resolution No. 84-151, approving an allocation of $149,150.00 to be included in the Fiscal Year 1984-85 budget for a General Plan update; authorizing staff to enter into a contract with Chandler Lee to perform the services outlined in the work program as shown in Staff Report 84:144, and to include the provision of office space in City Hall for the General Plan update; and approve the proposed schedule of tasks shovm in Staff Report 84:144, including tentative dates for Council review and public meetings, be adopted. The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Mercer, Wood, and Mayor Butler NOES: None ABSENT: Councilmember Mohr Livermore-Amador Valley Wastewater Planning Study - Wastewater Flow Estimates Mr. Walker presented his report (SR 84:171) dated March 22, 1984, regarding this matter. He requested that his recommendation be changed to 13.0 MGD (AD~) projected for 2010 rather than 10.0 MGD, to allow for commercial and industrial high user development. After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Mercer, and seconded by Council- member Brandes, authorizing the staff to inform CH2M Hill that the Council has reviewed the Wastewater Planning Study and that the Pleasanton wastewater flow be changed to 9.0 MGD for 199S and 13 MGD for 2010.
