No action was required or taken by Council on the item. <br /> <br /> Compliance to Condition No. 107 of Ordinance No. 1109 of Hacienda Business Park <br /> Mr. Harris presented his report (IR 84:21) dated March 22, 1984, relative to the <br /> monitoring of air quality for Hacienda Business Park. No action was required or taken <br /> by Council on this item. <br /> <br /> Cable TV Franchise Renewal - Consultant to Assist with Negotiations <br /> Mr. Walker presented his report (SR 84:166) dated March 22, 1984, regarding this <br /> matter. <br /> <br />~_~ Councilmember Brandes stated that he felt the hiring of a consultant would be <br />~j premature at this time. He suggested that the Mayor appoint two Councilmember, the <br /> City Attorney, and City Manager, to meet with representatives from the City of Liver- <br /> ~ more regarding initiation of procedures for the franchise agreement and to determine <br /> if a consultant is needed to assist with negotiations. After discussion, the Mayor <br /> was instructed to write a letter to the Cable TV Committee that a consultant not be <br /> hired until it can be determined if this action is necessary. <br /> <br /> REPORTS OF THE CITY ATTORNEY <br /> Report on possible Adoption of Transportation Systems Management Ordinance <br /> Mr. MacDonald presented his report (SR 84:169) dated March 21, 1984, regarding <br /> this matter. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Mercer, and seconded by Councilmember Wood, direct- <br /> ing staff to prepare a draft ordinance relative to Transportation Systems Management, <br /> after contact with all major employers as well as developers, for consideration at the <br /> Council meeting of April 24, 1984. <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Mercer, Wood, and Mayor Butler <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: Councilmember Mohr <br /> <br /> Report on Mozart Develomment Company <br /> Mr. MacDonald presented a brief oral information report regarding Condition 12 of <br /> Ordinance No. 1014 (PUD 81-22) Mozart Development Company's PUD, which requires that <br /> the CC&R's be approved prior to the issuance of "building permits". He advised that <br /> the CC&R's would not logically be established until approval of the subdivision map, <br /> but that, unless Council objected, it would not be necessary to change the wording of <br /> the ordinance. Council did not object. <br /> <br /> COMMUNICATIONS <br /> Mr. Walker presented a letter from Zone 7 in response to a letter from the City <br /> related to the well contamination recently reported near the Livermore Lab. Council- <br /> member Mercer stated all of his questions had not been answered and he requested further <br /> information relative to the legal role of Zone 7 in this matter, do they have juris- <br /> diction and if so to what degree; if not, who does; and when will the City know the <br /> outcome of what is being done. <br /> <br /> 10. 3/27/84 <br /> <br /> <br />
