PUBLIC HEARI~IGS <br />Application of the City of Pleasanton to prezone approximately two acres in two parcels <br />at and a~jacent to 500 Happy Valley Road to the PUD (Planned Unit Development)-Low Den- <br />sity Residential District <br /> Mr. Harris presented his report (SR 84:134) dated March 7, 1984, regarding this <br />matter. <br /> <br /> Vice Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing open on this item. <br /> <br /> Mr. Bud Barlow, 6723 Alisa! Street, President of the Alisal Improvement Club, <br />stated that any property in the Happy Valley area should be allowed to obtain water <br />by whatever means necessary, and he was not opposed to the application for annexation. <br />He concurred with the zoning of R-i-40,000 District, stating that would prevent the <br />property from being further developed and meets the goals of the Homeowners Associa- <br />tion. <br /> <br /> No one in the audience spoke in opposition to this item. <br /> <br /> There being no further testimony, Vice Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing <br />closed. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember Mohr, that <br />Ordinance No. 1130, to be read by title only and waiving further reading thereof, <br />approving the application of the City of Pleasanton to prezone approximately two acres <br />in two parcels at and adjacent to 500 Happy Valley Road to the PUD (Planned Unit Develop- <br />ment)-Low Density Residential District, be introduced. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Mohr, Wood, and Vice Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Mayor Butler <br /> <br />Appl.ication of Reynolds and Brown for design review approval of four office/warehousin~ <br />structures and related facilities totalling approximately 40~0.00 s~. ft. on approxi- <br />mateiX four acres of land located at the southeast corner. of Owens Drive and Johnson <br />Drive. Zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development)-Industrial~ Commer- <br />cial and Offices District <br /> Mr. Harris presented his report (SR 84:135) dated March 7, 1984, regarding this <br />matter. <br /> <br /> Vice Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing open on this item. <br /> <br /> Mr. Tom Terrill, 6660 Owens Drive, representing Reynolds and Brown, presented plans <br />for the proposed project and stated this development is part of the second phase al- <br />ready under construction; it is the second application of the second phase, and is a <br />similar complex to the other projects. <br /> <br /> No one in the audience spoke in opposition to this item. <br /> <br /> There being no further testimony, Vice Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing <br />closed. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Mohr, and seconded by Councilmember Wood, that <br />Resolution No. 84-128, approving the application of Reynolds and Brown for design <br />review approval of four office/warehousing structures and related facilities total- <br />ling approximately 40,000 sq. ft. on approximately four acres of land located at the <br />southeast corner of Owens Drive and Johnson Drive, subject to all conditions con- <br />tained in Planning Commission Resolution No. 2431, be adopted. <br /> <br /> 6. 3/13/84 <br /> <br /> <br />
