MIHUTES <br /> of <br /> THE MEETING <br /> of <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> January 9, 1984 <br /> <br /> CALL TO ORDER <br /> Mayor Robert Butler called the Regular Meeting of the City Council to order at <br /> 8:00 P.M., and then led the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. <br /> <br /> ROLL CALL <br /> Deputy City Clerk Doris George called the roll which is recorded as follows: <br /> Councilmembers Brandes, Mercer, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Butler were present. Mr. <br /> Walker, City Manager, Mr. MacDonald, City Attorney, Mr. Warnick, Director of Public <br /> Works and Utilities, Mr. Harris, Director of Planning and Community Development, Mrs. <br /> Bengtson, Director of Recreation and Human Resources, and Mr. Hill, Fire Chief, were <br /> present. <br /> <br /> AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> Mr. Walker requested that item 12c - Report on Request for Annexation from Mike <br /> Harris, Lawrence Miller and Dorothy Miller for approximately 6.39 acres on the North <br /> Side of Vineyard Avenue (Continued from 10-25-83 and 12-6-83) be continued to the <br /> meeting of January 24, 1984, at the request of the applicant. Council concurred with <br /> this request. <br /> <br /> Mr. Walker advised there would be an Executive Session held at the conclusion of <br /> this meeting to discuss labor relations. <br /> <br /> CouncilmemjDer Mercer requested that item 12d - Report on Proposed Sound Wall <br /> Construction and Landscaping for Valley Avenue, be considered before item 9a - Adop- <br /> tion of Ordinance No. 1111, approving the application of Morrison Homes PUD. Council <br /> concurred. <br /> <br /> CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember Mohr, that <br />the following items listed on the Consent Calendar be approved: <br /> <br /> a. Approval of City Council Minutes for 12-6-83. <br /> <br />b. Adoption of Ordinance No. 1105, approving the application of the City of Pleasan- <br /> ton to amend the provisions of Ordinance No. 1014 relating to traffic levels of <br /> service (LOS) and off-site traffic improvements for PUD-81-22 (Stoneridge Busi- <br /> ness Center). <br /> <br />c. Adoption of Ordinance No. 1114, establishing the speed limit on St. Mary Street <br /> between Division Street and Peters Avenue at 30 M.P.H. <br /> <br />d. Adoption of Ordinance No. 1115, amending lapsing provisions of the Growth Manage- <br /> ment Program to recognize subdivisions as vesting GMP approval. <br /> <br />e. Adoption of Ordinance No. 1117, approving the application of Richard Parejo for <br /> PUD (Planned Unit Development) development plan approval of a 9 lot single-family <br /> residential development on approximately eight acres of land located at the south- <br /> east corner of Amber Lane and Mockingbird Lane. <br /> <br /> <br />
