He requested that the City staff prepare a re-
LI=I port setting forth the advantages and disadvantages of Pleasanton taking over
IT) the sewer plant since it is within the city limits. Mayor Mercer advised that
~ the Cities of Dublin and San Ramon are preliminarily looking at this situa-
tion; that Dublin San Ramon Services District would have to be dissolved by
action of the Board of Supervisors and LAFCO. He stated there is not suffi-
cient evidence of the dissolution of DSRSD at this time to warrant a study.
He stated that the City of Pleasanton has a good rapport with Dublin San Ramon
Services District and that the joint Sewer Committee takes care of any prob-
lems or concerns that might arise. Councilmember Butler stated he would not
like to see the City get back into the sewer business, and he did not feel
there is a great deal of new information to gain by a study and that staff
does not have time to prepare such a report. Councilmember Mohr stated the
City could move forward with a study at such time as it seems necessary.

Mayor Mercer advised this is the last Council meeting for Assistant City
Manager Emily Wagner, and Chief Building Inspector Curt Stewart; both having
resigned from employment with the City of Pleasanton.

It was moved by Mayor Mercer, and seconded by Councilmember Brandes, that
Resolution No. 85-300, commending Emily E.
