Vice Mayor Brandes declared the public hearing open on this item and con- <br /> tinued it to the meeting of June 18, 1985, 8:00 p.m., in the Pleasanton Coun- <br /> cil Chambers, at the request of the appellant. <br /> <br /> POLICE OFFICERS PRESENTATION <br /> Officer Bill Reynolds presented plaques to each Councilmember and to Mr. <br />[A~ Walker, City Manager, in recognition for outstanding support and service to <br />[.l=[ the Police Officers Association. Assisting in the presentation were Officers <br />[] Radford, Fracolli, and Taboada. Vice Mayor Brandes expressed appreciation to <br />~ the Police Officers on behalf of the Councilmembers, and commended the <br /> Pleasanton Police Department for their fine work. <br /> <br /> MATTERS CONTINUED FOR DECISION <br /> There were no matters continued for decision presented at this meeting. <br /> <br /> SPECIAL REPORTS <br /> There were no special reports presented at this meeting. <br /> <br /> REPORTS OF BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS <br /> Mr. Harris presented his report (SR 85:269) dated May 28, 1985, regarding <br /> this matter. No action was required or taken by Council on the item. <br /> <br /> REPORTS OF THE CITY MANAGER <br /> Market Investigation and Feasibility Study for the Proposed Elderly Housing <br /> Project <br /> Vice Mayor Brandes declared this item continued to the meeting of June 18, <br /> 1985, at the request of the Pleasanton Housing Group. <br /> <br /> Recommendation Reqgrdin~ the Master Plan for the Park to be Located on the <br /> East Side of Bernal Avenue, north of Tawny Drive, Tawny Park (T) <br /> Mr. Walker presented the report of the Director of Parks and Community <br /> Services (SR 85:283) dated May 30, 1985, regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Butler, and seconded by Councilmember Wood, <br /> that Resolution No. 85-286, approving the Master Plan as submitted by LandUse <br /> for the park to be located on the east side o~'Bernal Avenue, north of Tawny <br /> Drive, Tawny Park (T), be adopted. <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Mohr, Wood, and Vice Mayor Brandes <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: Mayor Mercer <br /> <br /> ~pproval of Plans and Specifications and Authorization to Call for Bids, John- <br /> son Drive and Stoneridge Drive, North Pleasanton Improvement District 1982-4 <br /> Mr. Okamura presented his report (SR 85:274) dated June 4, 1985, regarding <br /> this matter. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Mohr, and seconded by Councilmember Butler, <br /> that Resolution No. 85-287, approving plans and specifications and authorizing <br /> the call for bids, Johnson Drive and Stoneridge Drive improvements, in connec- <br /> tion with North Pleasanton Improvement District No. 1982-4, be adopted. <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Mohr, Wood, and Vice Mayor Brandes <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: Mayor Mercer <br /> <br /> - 5 6-4-85 <br /> <br /> <br />
