Mr. Walker stated it will take two weeks to prepare a report regarding this matter. He asked if he could have representatives from the City of Dub- lin assist with the report. Council stated this would be all right. Mr. Al- bert asked if the Housing Authority could also have representation and coor- dination in putting the report together. Council encouraged the Housing Au- thority input in the report. Mayor Mercer instructed Mr. Walker to proceed with preparation of the re- port and to transmit it to all concerned when it is completed. He also in- structed Mr. Walker to schedule one meeting at Arroyo Vista and one meeting at Kottinger Place to discuss the report. The dates of June t0, June 11, June 17, and June 19 were suggested as possible dates for the meetings. Mayor Mer- cer requested that everyone in each of the two projects be notified when a definite meeting time has been arranged. Mayor Mercer thanked the residents of Kottinger Place and Arroyo Vista for attending the meeting and voicing their concerns. Approximately 40-50 people were in attendance. PUBLIC HEARINGS PUD-85-6, Application of J. Gordon Bingham for development plan approval to construct a one story, 14,200 sq. ft. automobile sales and service building on an approximately 2.3 acre portion of an approximately 49 acre site located on the northwest side of Santa Rita Road between Old Santa Rita Road to the west and Highway 1-580 to the north. Zoning for the property is in the process of bein9 changed to PUD (Planned Unit Development)-Central Commercial District Mr. Harris presented his report (SR 85:248) dated May 21, 1985, regarding this matter. Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing open on this iem. Mr. Martin Inderbitzen, Attorney representing the applicant, stated he concurs with the staff report and conditions of approval. He stated he is sensitive to the concerns of all parties regarding orientation of this project to the freeway. He presented a rendering of the project as it will be viewed from the freeway. No one in the audience spoke in opposition to th'is item. There being no further testimony, Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing closed. After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember Butler, that Ordinance No. 1200, to be read by title only and waiving further reading thereof, approving PUD-85-6, application of J. Gordon Bingham for development plan approval to construct a one story, 14,200 sq. ft. automobile sales and service building on an approximately 2°3 acre portion of an approximately 49 acre site located on the northwest side of Santa Rita Road between Old Santa Rita Road to the west and Highway 1-580 to the north, sub- ject to all conditions contained in Planning Commission Resolution No. 2653, be introduced.
