Mr. Walker stated it will take two weeks to prepare a report regarding <br /> this matter. He asked if he could have representatives from the City of Dub- <br /> lin assist with the report. Council stated this would be all right. Mr. Al- <br /> bert asked if the Housing Authority could also have representation and coor- <br /> dination in putting the report together. Council encouraged the Housing Au- <br /> thority input in the report. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer instructed Mr. Walker to proceed with preparation of the re- <br />port and to transmit it to all concerned when it is completed. He also in- <br />structed Mr. Walker to schedule one meeting at Arroyo Vista and one meeting at <br />Kottinger Place to discuss the report. The dates of June t0, June 11, June <br />17, and June 19 were suggested as possible dates for the meetings. Mayor Mer- <br />cer requested that everyone in each of the two projects be notified when a <br />definite meeting time has been arranged. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer thanked the residents of Kottinger Place and Arroyo Vista for <br />attending the meeting and voicing their concerns. Approximately 40-50 people <br />were in attendance. <br /> <br /> PUBLIC HEARINGS <br />PUD-85-6, Application of J. Gordon Bingham for development plan approval to <br />construct a one story, 14,200 sq. ft. automobile sales and service building on <br />an approximately 2.3 acre portion of an approximately 49 acre site located on <br />the northwest side of Santa Rita Road between Old Santa Rita Road to the west <br />and Highway 1-580 to the north. Zoning for the property is in the process of <br />bein9 changed to PUD (Planned Unit Development)-Central Commercial District <br /> Mr. Harris presented his report (SR 85:248) dated May 21, 1985, regarding <br />this matter. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing open on this iem. <br /> <br /> Mr. Martin Inderbitzen, Attorney representing the applicant, stated he <br />concurs with the staff report and conditions of approval. He stated he is <br />sensitive to the concerns of all parties regarding orientation of this project <br />to the freeway. He presented a rendering of the project as it will be viewed <br />from the freeway. <br /> <br /> No one in the audience spoke in opposition to th'is item. <br /> <br /> There being no further testimony, Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing <br />closed. <br /> <br /> After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by <br />Councilmember Butler, that Ordinance No. 1200, to be read by title only and <br />waiving further reading thereof, approving PUD-85-6, application of J. Gordon <br />Bingham for development plan approval to construct a one story, 14,200 sq. ft. <br />automobile sales and service building on an approximately 2°3 acre portion of <br />an approximately 49 acre site located on the northwest side of Santa Rita Road <br />between Old Santa Rita Road to the west and Highway 1-580 to the north, sub- <br />ject to all conditions contained in Planning Commission Resolution No. 2653, <br />be introduced. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> - 6 - 5-21-a5 968 <br /> <br /> <br />
