Adoption of Resolution No. 85-192, approving contracts for <br /> Inspection Services with Tony Lippis and Douglas McCloud; and <br /> authorizing execution of the contracts by the appropriate <br /> city officials. <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Mohr, Wood, and Vice Mayor <br /> Brandes <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Mayor Mercer <br /> <br />MATTERS INITIATED BY COUNCILMEMBERS <br /> Councilmember Mohr requested that Council appeal PUD-79-6-2M, <br />minor modification to Case PUD-79-6, National Car Rentals, be- <br />cause of concern relative to parking problems. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL COMMITTEE REPORTS <br /> Councilmember Wood advised that he and Councilmember Mohr had <br />met with representatives from the City of Dublin as well as Hous- <br />ing Authority Board Members to discuss representation by the City <br />of Dublin on the Housing Authority Board. He stated this could <br />be satisfied by creating a Joint Powers Agreement with the City <br />of Dublin, and designating three representatives from the City of <br />Dublin; two at large and one tenant representative from Arroyo <br />Vista. Councilmember Wood stated the Joint Powers Agreement <br />would be specifically for representation on the Board by the City <br />of Dublin° Vice Mayor Brandes stated he has a somewhat different <br />concept for representation on the Housing Authority Board which <br />he would like to present at the next Council meeting. He also <br />instructed the City Attorney to investigate the possibility of a <br />Joint Powers Agreement regarding this matter for consideration at <br />the next meeting. <br /> <br /> Page 3 4-16-85 <br /> <br /> <br />
