Application of the City of Pleasanton to prezone an approximately 20 acre <br /> site located east of the terminus of Mission Drive, south of Bernal Avenue and <br /> approximately 325 feet north of Junipero Street to the "A" (Agricultural), "P" <br /> (Public and Institutional), and PUD ~Planned Unit Development)-Medium.~ens~ty Resi- <br /> dential Districts or to anX other zonin~ districts consistent with the General <br /> Plan <br /> <br /> Consider Adoption of Negative Declaration <br /> Mr. Harris presented his report (SR 85:168) dated April 2, 1985, regarding this <br />matter. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing open on the application and the negative <br />declaration. <br /> <br /> No one in the audience spoke in favor of or in opposition to this item. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing closed. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember Butler, that <br />Resolution No. 85-175, determining on the basis of a review of initial environmental <br />study done for this project, that no significant environmental impact would occur as <br />outlined in the City's guidelines and that a negative declaration is appropriate in <br />connection with RZ-85-6, application of the City of Pleasanton to prezone an approxi- <br />mately 20 acre site located east of the terminus of Mission Drive, south of Bernal <br />Avenue and approximately 325 feet north of Junipero Street to the "A" (Agricultural), <br />"P" (Public and Institutional), and PUD (Planned Unit Development)-Medium Density <br />Residential District, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Mohr <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded byCouncilmember Wood, that <br />Ordinance No. 1191, to be read by title only and waiving further reading thereof, <br />approving RZ-85-6, application of the City of Pleasanton to prezone an approximately <br />20 acre site located east of the terminus of Mission Drive, south of Bernal Avenue <br />and approximately 325 feet north of Junipero Street to the "A" (Agricultural), "P" <br />(Public and Institutional), and PUD (Planned Unit Development)-Medium Density Resi- <br />dential District; the designation to be as follows: (1) the 7.72 acre school district <br />site to be prezoned "P" (Public and Institutional) District; (2) the 2.27 City owned <br />park site be prezoned "A" (Agricultural) DiStrict; and (3) the 10 acre Auf der Maur <br />property be prezoned PUD-Medium Density Residential District; subject to the following <br />condition: "That until a development plan is approved for the ten acre Auf der Maur <br />property, all allowed andconditionally allowed uses of the "A" (Agricultural) Dis- <br />trict shall be permitted or conditionally permitted on that property", be introduced. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, WOod, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Mohr <br /> <br />AP-85-1, Appeal of Robert BerkeX of a decision of the Design Review Board denying <br />permission to retain an automobile .display platform adjacent to the northern pro- <br />perty line of the Berkey Porsche/Audi automobile dealership located at 5940 Stone- <br />ridge Mall Road.
