approving GP-85-1, application of the City of Pleasanton to amend the General Plan Land Use designation of an approximately 2.25 acre site located at 55~, 539, and 571 St. John Street from Commercial and Offices to PUD (Planned Unit Development)-High Density Residential; approving GP-85-2, application of the City of Pleasanton to change the General Plan Land Use designation of an approximately 4.0 acre site located immediately north and west of the intersection of St. John Street and Pleasanton Avenue from High Density Residential to Medium Density Residential; and approving GP-84-9, application of the City of Pleasanton to amend the Land Use and Circulation Element of the Pleasanton General Plan to add a freeway interchange to the future location of the intersection of Hacienda Drive and 1-580 located approximately midway between the Hopyard/I-580 interchange and the Santa Rita Road/I-580 interchange, with the roll call votes on each item as shown individually above, be adopted. The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer NOES: None ABSENT: None PUD-82-18-6D, Application of Ashwill, Hawkins and Partn~rs~ Inc., for planned Unit Development Plan approval to construct a nine building~ .55,008 sq. ft. off. ice com- plex on the approximately 4.3 acre site located at the southeast corner of east of Santa Rita Road and Kamp Drive (Stoneridge Drive). Zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development)-Industrial District Consider Adoption of Mitigated Negative Declaration Mr. Harris presented his report (SR 85:136) dated March 26, 1985, regarding this matter. Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing open on the application and the mitigated negative declaration. Mr. John Hawkins, representing the applicant, presented renderings of the project. He stated this is a transitional piece of property from commercial to residential, and would be a "for sale" project rather than "for lease". He stated he concurs with the conditions and recommendations of staff and the Planning Commission. No one in the audience spoke in opposition to this item. Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing closed on the application and the miti- gated negative declaration. Councilmember Mohr expressed concern regarding parking. Mayor Mercer and Council- member Brandes expressed concern ~egarding minimal landscaping. It was moved by Councilmember Butler, and seconded by Councilmember Brandes, that Resolution No. 85-159, determining on the basis of a review of initial environmental study done for this project, that case PUD-82-18-6D would have a significant adverse impact upon the environment but that recommended conditions of approval would reduce Cit's guidelines therefore that impact to an insignificant level as outlined in the y a Mitigated Negative Declaration is appropriate in connection with PUD-82-18-6D, application of Ashwill, Hawkins and Partners, Inc., for Planned Unit Development plan approval to construct a nine building, 55',008 Sq. ft. office complex on the approximately 4.3 acre Site located at the southeast corner of east of Santa Rita Road and Kamp Drive (Stoneridge Drive), be adopted.
