approving GP-85-1, application of the City of Pleasanton to amend the General Plan <br />Land Use designation of an approximately 2.25 acre site located at 55~, 539, and 571 <br />St. John Street from Commercial and Offices to PUD (Planned Unit Development)-High <br />Density Residential; approving GP-85-2, application of the City of Pleasanton to <br />change the General Plan Land Use designation of an approximately 4.0 acre site located <br />immediately north and west of the intersection of St. John Street and Pleasanton <br />Avenue from High Density Residential to Medium Density Residential; and approving <br />GP-84-9, application of the City of Pleasanton to amend the Land Use and Circulation <br />Element of the Pleasanton General Plan to add a freeway interchange to the future <br />location of the intersection of Hacienda Drive and 1-580 located approximately midway <br />between the Hopyard/I-580 interchange and the Santa Rita Road/I-580 interchange, with <br />the roll call votes on each item as shown individually above, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />PUD-82-18-6D, Application of Ashwill, Hawkins and Partn~rs~ Inc., for planned Unit <br />Development Plan approval to construct a nine building~ .55,008 sq. ft. off. ice com- <br />plex on the approximately 4.3 acre site located at the southeast corner of east of <br />Santa Rita Road and Kamp Drive (Stoneridge Drive). Zoning for the property is PUD <br />(Planned Unit Development)-Industrial District <br /> <br />Consider Adoption of Mitigated Negative Declaration <br /> Mr. Harris presented his report (SR 85:136) dated March 26, 1985, regarding this <br />matter. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing open on the application and the mitigated <br />negative declaration. <br /> <br /> Mr. John Hawkins, representing the applicant, presented renderings of the project. <br />He stated this is a transitional piece of property from commercial to residential, and <br />would be a "for sale" project rather than "for lease". He stated he concurs with the <br />conditions and recommendations of staff and the Planning Commission. <br /> <br /> No one in the audience spoke in opposition to this item. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing closed on the application and the miti- <br />gated negative declaration. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Mohr expressed concern regarding parking. Mayor Mercer and Council- <br />member Brandes expressed concern ~egarding minimal landscaping. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Butler, and seconded by Councilmember Brandes, that <br />Resolution No. 85-159, determining on the basis of a review of initial environmental <br />study done for this project, that case PUD-82-18-6D would have a significant adverse <br />impact upon the environment but that recommended conditions of approval would reduce <br /> Cit's guidelines therefore <br />that impact to an insignificant level as outlined in the y <br />a Mitigated Negative Declaration is appropriate in connection with PUD-82-18-6D, <br />application of Ashwill, Hawkins and Partners, Inc., for Planned Unit Development <br />plan approval to construct a nine building, 55',008 Sq. ft. office complex on the <br />approximately 4.3 acre Site located at the southeast corner of east of Santa Rita <br />Road and Kamp Drive (Stoneridge Drive), be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> ll. /26/85 <br /> <br /> <br />
