Adoption of Resolution No. 85-101, adopting the "Report Concerning Single Family <br /> Mortgage Revenue Bond Programs"; authorizing staff to hold the public hearing on <br /> the report on March 8, 1985, at 10:00 a.m., at City Hall to be conducted by the <br /> Assistant City Manager; and authorizing the Mayor to sign the final report that <br /> will include a summary of con~ents made (if any) at the hearing. <br /> <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Brandes <br /> <br />MATTERS INITIATED BY COUNCILMDIBERS <br />Appointment of Alternate Member on Park and Recreation Commission <br /> Mayor Mercer stated that candidates for consideration as alternate member on the <br />Park and Recreation Commission had been interviewed earlier this evening, and it was <br />now in order to make this appointment. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Butler, and seconded by Councilmember Wood, that <br />Resolution No. 85-102, appointing A. Ryan McKeon, Jr., as alternate member on the <br />Park and Recreation Commission, to fill the unexpired term of Lance Ruckteschler, <br />said term to expire February 15, 1987, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Brandes <br /> <br /> Councilmember Butler advised that the LAVWMA Board unanimously approved the <br />LA~.~ pipeline expansionof 4.4 MGD, at their meeting of February 25, 1985. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Mohr stated that the Joint Powers Agreement establishing a local <br />valley-wide transit system will come before Council at the meeting of March 12, <br />1985. She asked if Councilmembers had any comments at this time regarding the <br />issue. There were no comments made by any Councilmembers. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Wood commended Council and staff regarding the soundwall and <br />landscaping on Valley Avenue. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL COmmITTEE REPORTS <br /> There were no City Council Committee Reports presented at this meeting. <br /> <br />MEETING OPEN TO THE PUBLIC <br /> Ms. Judith Mayhew, Photo Plant, 610 Main Street, and President of the Pleasanton <br />Downtown Association, presented a letter from the Downtown Association dated February <br />19, 1985, in resDonse to discussion of the downtown improvement district at the <br />Council meeting of February 12, 1985. Council advised this matter will be on the <br />March 12, 1985 agenda for further consideration. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS <br />RZ-85-2, Application of the City of Pleasanton to rezone an approximately six acre <br />area composed of all properties located on the north and south sides of St. Mary <br />Street and the north side of Division Street between Peters Avenue and the Western <br />Pacific Railroad r~ght-of-way from the R-1-6500 (Single-family Residential) District <br />to the KM-1500 (Multiple-family Residential) District or to any other zoning dis- <br />trict consistent with the General Plan <br /> <br /> 4. 2/26/85 <br /> <br /> <br />
