187 <br /> <br /> REPORTS OF THE CITY MANAGER <br /> Request for Annexation - 20 Acres for Future Mission Park park site, school site, <br /> and Auf der Maur <br /> Mr. Warnick presented his report (SR 85:3?) dated January 22, 1985, regarding <br /> this matter. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember Butler, <br /> directing staff to prepare a formal resolution requesting the annexation and an <br /> application to LAFCO; to notify the adjacent property owners when this resolution <br /> will be considered; and to prepare the necessary maps and descriptions and the <br />~ City pay the LAFCO and State processing fees. <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br />T~ AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />[D NOES: None <br />[~] ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> Request for Annexation of 2.21 Acres on Mockingbird Lane (William Brewer) <br /> Mr. Warnick presented his report (SR 85:39) dated January 22, 1985, regarding <br /> this matter. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Brand~s, and seconded by Councilmember Mohr, to <br /> deny the request for Annexation of 2.21 Acres on Mockingbird Lane by William Brewer <br /> and directing staff to advise Mr. Brewer that Council would be willing to reconsider <br /> the application upon notification from the owners of parcels 1-6 and 1-5 that they <br /> desire to be included in this annexation. <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> Request for Annexation of 60 Acres on Happy Valley Road (M. Grotenhuis) <br /> Mayor Mercer declared this item continued to the meeting of February 12, 1985, <br /> at the request of the applicant. <br /> <br /> Status Report for North Pleasanton Improvement District (Traffic) <br /> Mr. Warnick presented his report (SR 85:41) dated January 22, 1985, regarding <br /> this matter. He stated that several consultants are in the audience if Council <br /> has any questions. He introduced Mr. D. J. Smith, who has done the coordination <br /> work with Caltrans. <br /> <br /> Mr. Smith stated that relative to the process, we are far along with Caltrans <br /> in getting the geometrics approved for all four interchanges. He reviewed the <br /> agreements necessary to proceed with construction. With regard to funding, Mr. <br /> Smith reviewed the various state and federal funding methods available and assured <br /> Council that all means available would be pursued to get money to construct the <br /> interchanges; with the remaining to be funded by assessment district. <br /> <br /> Mr. Sam Zullo reviewed the actual construction costs, stating it would be <br /> - approximately $25 million plus other incurred expenses. <br /> <br /> Matters for the Information of the Council <br /> <br /> Minor Modification to PUD-78-5, Seventy-Five Lot Residential Planned Unit Develop- <br /> ment at the End of Crellin Road and Arbor Drive <br /> Mr. Harris presented his report (IR 85:02) dated January 22, 1985, regarding <br /> this matter.
