He asked Council to consider not showing Martin Avenue intersecting <br /> with Stoneridge Drive; stating it is not necessary to connect - it could be a <br /> cul-de-sac. <br /> <br /> Mr. Bill Selway, 2313 Martin Avenue, stated he is not happy with the <br /> Stoneridge Drive extension, and would like Council to consider the impact of <br /> this type and size of road on the Mohr-Martin rural atmosphere. <br /> <br /> There being no further testimony, Mayor Brandes declared the public hear- <br /> ing closed on the application and environmental impact report. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Mercer, and seconded by Councilmember Mohr, <br /> that Resolution No. 85-586, certifying that the Environmental Impact Report as <br /> complete and adequate in connection with GP-84-1, application of the City of <br /> Pleasanton to amend the Circulation Element of the General Plan to delete West <br /> Las Positas Boulevard as an arterial east of Santa Rita Road and to designate <br /> an extension of Stoneridge Drive east of Santa Rita Road to E1 Charro Road <br /> with a conceptual extension to Livermore, and that Council has reviewed and <br /> considered the information in the final EIR and have determined it to be com- <br /> pleted in compliance with CEQA, be adopted. <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Mercer, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Brandes <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Butler, and seconded by Councilmember Mer- <br /> cer, that Resolution No. 85-588, after making staff's recommended findings, <br /> approve GP-84-1, application of the City of Pleasanton to amend the Circula- <br /> tion Element of the General Plan as shown on the "Proposed General Plan Align- <br /> ment" depicting Stoneridge Drive as the parallel freeway route and West Las <br /> Positas Boulevard terminating as a major thoroughfare east of Melbourne Court; <br /> recommending that staff be directed to meet with all affected parties concern- <br /> ing the Stoneridge Drive-E1 Charro Road issues and include a recommended solu- <br /> tion as part of the specific plan to be undertaken for the northeastern <br /> Pleasanton area; and directing staff to include an analysis of the effects of <br /> the General Plan amendment on the residents of the Lin Gate area west of Santa <br /> Rita Road into the specific plan for the northeast Pleasanton area, be <br /> adopted. <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Mercer, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Brandes <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> PUD-84-12, Application of Falcon Development Company for rezonin9 from "A" <br /> (Agricultural) to PUD (Planned Unit Development) District and for development <br /> plan approval for a 158 unit residential development on approximately 21.8 <br /> acre site located at tile eastern terminus of West Las Positas Boulevard <br /> <br /> - 9 12-17-85 <br /> <br /> <br />
