Mr. Bill Selway, 2313 Martin Avenue, stated he is not happy with the Stoneridge Drive extension, and would like Council to consider the impact of this type and size of road on the Mohr-Martin rural atmosphere. There being no further testimony, Mayor Brandes declared the public hear- ing closed on the application and environmental impact report. It was moved by Councilmember Mercer, and seconded by Councilmember Mohr, that Resolution No. 85-586, certifying that the Environmental Impact Report as complete and adequate in connection with GP-84-1, application of the City of Pleasanton to amend the Circulation Element of the General Plan to delete West Las Positas Boulevard as an arterial east of Santa Rita Road and to designate an extension of Stoneridge Drive east of Santa Rita Road to E1 Charro Road with a conceptual extension to Livermore, and that Council has reviewed and considered the information in the final EIR and have determined it to be com- pleted in compliance with CEQA, be adopted.
